With Neda and Phineas came great change. Neda began to drop special seeds she crafted seemingly from nothing into in the water and place them in the ground. Phineas helped Neda. As old growths and creatures began to weakened and became too hurt he would take their souls away so the bodies could rot. The souls would be reused with new bodies.
She waved goodbye to the sun as he disappeared over the horizon. She turned to the darkness, thinking about all possibilities this new experience held for her creations. She wanted to experience what they did, she wanted to use it as inspiration for new beings she was working on. She admired the scarlet that shifted into violet then black. The color had drained from everything. She could only see what the sounds revealed.
The wold was mostly barren on the land the few seeds she hadn't placed in the water were much slower than their water bound brethren. She was eager to explore Earth, she could feel her potential. The soft sand changed to sold rock. It's warmth from the sun slowly fading.
Her walk was mostly uneventful, there were some interesting rocks and smaller bodies of water but things didn't entirely peak her interest until she met with a large hole in one of the tall cliffs. She could hardly wait to examine this possible habitat.
"Do you think Earth would like you in here?" A voice echoed from the depths. "You think angering her would be wise?"
She paused, Plushy hadn't mentioned anyone else on her planet. Were they new like her and Phineas? "Who are you?"
"All it would take is a single thought."
"Excuse me?"
"She can crush mountains, what chance does your weak mortals stand?"
She wasn't sure how to respond. She couldn't stop her mind from showing her this new fear. All her planned creatures at the feet of a vengeful Earth. Lava spewed from her scowling mouth and lightning lit up her glaring eyes.
"They'll all die, do you enjoy their pain?" The echo became more pronounced, as if the speaker was coming closer. Rocks clicked and skipped as they were kicked along. The sounds bounced off a large figure without a definite shape. It lumbered closer in jagged, fast motions. "Everything you create will die by my claw. What do you think will happen to you-" It hissed as it quivered and broke into a full sprint on shaking, morphing legs. "If I ripped you apart!?"
Neda shook herself from frozen state. She ran from the cave and didn't look back until the sun had risen again. That is when Life learned to fear the darkness.
