I don’t think I’ve talked much about this, but I LOVE UCN and the idea of it (lore wise, it’s a pretty awesome game but it’s ver difficult for me lol)

Like the idea that it’s the ghosts little resting space where they can just rest and enjoy their afterlife together, and like it’s kind of their own secret little club.

But also like, the way the way it works (as I see it)

Instead of Afton choosing the souls that torture him each night, (because be fr he would choose the easiest animatronics to haunt him) I feel as though the selection screen more represents how the souls can just come and go if they feel like torturing their killer every once in a while. And plus they made it so there were soulless animatronics that were always there to still haunt him.

Also I like the idea that instead of Afton just learning how to deal with the animatronics over time and just breezing through the game, similar to how the player learns tactics to make it easier for them, the souls like erase Afton’s memories and skills in the Nightguard office so the scares are always real and hurt.

And plus, I haven’t seen anyone talk about this yet, but the hell itself has aspects of all the characters in it, and not just in the characters who can scare. Like I know that UCN was originally Cassidy’s idea, but I don’t think it’s all her.

Since UCN takes place after FNAF 6 when all of the souls have been released, all of the souls are a part of it. So like, Mike is obviously not an animatronic who can kill you, because that’s not him, he doesn’t want to get back at his father by killing him over and over again, he already got that satisfaction. No. The part of UCN he worked on/made is the office itself. He wanted his father to go through the years of torture that he did in those offices, he wanted his father to feel his pain.

And Cassidy obviously made the idea of the everlasting hell, but I feel as though she probably just wanted him to sit in pain forever or something like that. But Charlie made sure that the souls can get their justice and gain closure through also participating in scaring Afton.

And Henry, his whole thing was he wanted to let the souls rest and finally be free. So, he runs the calm place, the place where the souls can rest and be calm and soothed, aka the Old Man Consequences lake.

I just love so much how every aspect of UCN has a different soul in it, like you can tell how they worked together to create something that everyone who was harmed by Afton could get closure from it. AUGHHHHHHHHH
