Just gonna throw my hat into the ring before the actual wars happen, if at all.

Do you ship something? Did the upcoming dance episode mess with your ship?

Well this is a shitty predicament indeed, what are you going to do friend? Flame people who ship the now canon or alluded ship or people who RP the character who is interfering your ship in canon.

Stop right there buddy, that's not right. You are an RPer rght? And you know people who RP the character who you ship your character with? Well why don't you simply seek out this person and inquire about a shipping RP with them.

The fun thing about fiction is, you can write fanfiction and it doesn't have to apply to the canon of the show, you can make yourself happy by simply RPing your ship with other people or the like. You don't need your ship to be canon to have fun with it because you can just write it yourself, or if you can draw, draw it. You certainly don't need to get angry at others who had nothing to do with your ship being messed with and possibly push them to do something because of what you said to them and how it hurt or upset them.

As someone who runs an RP blog for an OC on the side, who ships with a canon primarily. It makes me sad to see that some people don't seem to get this.
