I went to U of C's Indigenous Graduation celebration on Saturday, and one the best parts was seeing them flying a 2s Pride flag during the grad introduction.

Help A First Nations Artist!

I'm feel a little bad for this but please don't scroll past!

Hi! My name is Kobi and I'm an 17 year old 2Spirit artist and animator!

This march, when I'll be 18, I have the opportunity to travel to Kelowna BC to an "Animation Bootcamp" at the college I want to attend.

The cost will be close to $1350 or more for me to stay in a hotel, pay for food, and travel via bus/cab in kelowna, plus any extra spending money

My school division has given me a grant of $650 which I will be using to pay for my plane ticket.

I work a part time job at about 16 hours or less a week so I'll be able to put aside some money cover some of the cost.

What I'm requesting is some money donations so I can attend this event and be better prepared for attending the college in the future. As a First Nations student and artist this is a great opportunity for me!

Not a lot of First Nations students in Canada attend college or University, or even graduate highschool so this is very important to me.

Don't feel obligated to donate, but reblogs help a lot!
