Dr. Joan Smith hated driving. Which is why she seldom did. Except today, she had a meeting in another part of town to attend and public transport would either get her there ridiculously early or way past the meeting’s start time.
Vehicles pulled out in front of her along the way, nearly clipped hers when changing lanes in front of her, tailgated her and honked their horns when she was going the speed limit. She hated this. She would have asked Mattie to drive, but Mattie was attending a convention all day and couldn’t get away.
Then it started to rain. She slowed down a little, and was tailgated yet again. Watching the offending car in her rearview mirror, she was distracted long enough to look through the windshield in front and see that she was speeding towards the car in front of her...
and could not stop in time. Slamming on her breaks proved to be useless, and she hit the other car’s bumper. Once her car stopped, she sighed heavily and leaned her head on the steering wheel for a few seconds and watched the man in the front car glance back at her through his rear window, with a perplexed and annoyed look on his face.

But he couldn't stop, a client had asked to have someone removed and he was getting something quite nice for it. He fiddled with his watched as he sat back in his comfortable office chair with a sigh.

The man sat the streets, trying to get comfortable and sleep. However, it was all too loud for him. That certainly didnt help him think. He was already lost in his head. Knowing nothing other than the fact that he was here.
What was his name? How old was he? He didn't know how to answer these questions because he didnt know. He was completely lost, had been since he had woken up here.
He curled up in ball and played with the small golden watch on his chain, coughing loudly as he had could, shaking in his battered and worn suit.

In the warm, multicoloured glow of fairylights, a young woman wandered down the length of Brighton Pier, her long platinum waves of hair being tossed by the sea breeze. She was dressed in straight leg jeans and a thick, grey wrap around cardigan, knee length boots clicking on the wooden slats. A bag of baby pink candyfloss was tucked in the crook of her arm, unopened.
As she reached the end of the pier, she rest her arms on the aged green railing, crossing one ankle behind the other and looking at the broiling of the late Spring sea with a small smile. She’d lived in Brighton for two years now but she still enjoyed doing the tourist bit from time to time.
Sky has her own Chameleon Arch fob watch, but left it in her room in the Tardis. As a sort of reminder, she collects regular Fob watches and keeps them all in working order.
