Review/Recommendation: Holy Toledo, where to start with this fic? It’s canon-divergent from MTMTE 54 on, generally centered around Cybertron, and takes on the combined casts of ex-RID and MTMTE + Optimus Prime. It is really well planned, well plotted, and well structured. It does a good job of handling such a large cast, which is hugely impressive. It juggles a lot of different threads and elements really well, getting at action and adventure, politics, drama, suspense, all the sci fi elements you’d want, and really cool Cybertronian worldbuilding, culture and all. If you’re looking for more plot and worldbuilding centric stuff from your IDW fic, it’d be a shame not to give this a shot!
