I am supposed to be writing a piece on helping kids find an audience for their writing, but instead I am looking at a royal fashion blog (top 10 tiaras with pearls, top ten reworn couture gowns).

ah I have never wanted to finish my album so much in my life, I can't focus at all on finishing this paper that's due at 8 AM, I just want to record! but I can't. gah. my voice is giving me problems--I think I need to invest in a humidifier for my apartment. but seriously, I WILL finish tracking this thing before December is over. before my 21st birthday, if I can help it. and I'm mixing it all myself, and I'm pretty sure I know who's going to master it, (and I made the album art almost a year ago) and then I can finally release it into the world. I've been working on it forever and the songs represent a really important period of my life. I want everyone to hear them and I want to play them and tell you all about them. I feel so inspired right now and I'm finding it hard to channel this creative energy into finishing an eight-page book review. sometimes I can be super self-deprecating about my own music, and feel like no one cares or takes me seriously, but right now I'm just feeling good.
