Are you working out because YOU decide to or because others say you should? πͺποΈββοΈ Normalizing normal bodies. π€ My postpartum journey was challenging. In every way. Going back in shape was much more difficult than I thought it would be. Why? My body changed a lot. And so did my needs. For the first months, I couldn't move too much either. I also wanted to embrace and enjoy my baby fully and motherhood as well, without stressing out over exercises. Something happened along the way and I felt OBLIGED to get back in shape.. π€ The clothes not fitting anymore, not liking the image in the mirror, but mostly.. seeing social media's edited photos. πΌ For a few days, I felt stuck in the social media trap: β‘οΈ Not because social media is to blame, because we all love those glamorous photos, don't we? π It's because I didn't TRUST myself anymore. I lost myself in this marvelous journey. Luckily, thanks to people like @luciagaggerostudios I remembered how important it is to LOVE myself fully, no matter what happens or what I see out there. Most of it is not real. What's real is your spirit, soul and heart. Do only what makes you happy.
