"Here. You definitely need it." Roderick said, handing Kevin a cup of hot chocolate.
Kevin softly smiled and took the cup. "Thanks."
Roderick sat down next to him. "That was a pretty big snow day, huh?"
"Yeah. It was." He tried to take a sip only to pull it away, flinching at the hot liquid burning his tongue.
Roderick stifled a laugh. "You know you're supposed to let it cool a little, right?"
Kevin just nodded, cupping his mouth. "My tongue..."
"Here. Let me see."
Kevin opened his mouth, allowing Roderick to examine it. There was some redness, but overall, nothing too bad.
"I'll go get you some milk. How about that?"
Kevin smiled. "Thanks.."
"No problem, dude."
