This was, at worst, an inconvenience; at best, a perfectly valid excuse to be far away from Jon when he awoke. But he wanted to see him before he departed, and he wanted Martin to see him. “They’ll be here any moment,” he replied, as unhelpful as ever. “Do try not to lose your head, Martin. They’ll need to get him in quite quickly, I’d imagine, and I’ll need to do some bargaining.”

There's some serious fog outside right now. It will clear. That's what fog does. As it clears let go of what is no longer serving you from 2017.
