Have you ever covered any of those Fogware games that Maximum PC once distributed? We had those for a long time, but I can't find much on any of the games from them, save for Team Darkland's Battle of the Youstrass/Eustrath, called War of the Elements in that collection. That was a pretty neat game in particular, but it's weird how we had all these small-potatoes games in one place.
I haven’t, but I’m curious! I did some poking around, and although I can’t find anything about them being related to Maximum PC magazine, it does look like they’re all part of a pack called Maximum Game Play published by JC Research (Fogware seems like it’s just a brand name).
Unfortunately, my trail goes cold there because there don’t appear to be any copies left for sale (even used). But as best I can tell, Maximum PC wasn’t actually involved in it, if that helps your search (the name is similar, maybe wires got crossed at some point).
