My favourite book I read this year was Thomas Hardy's Tess of the D'Urbervilles and I'm really looking forward to reading Carry On next year and also possibly reread The Neverending Story by Michael Ende and The Hobbit! :)

The Hobbit was a very awesome book! Have you read any of the LotR books?

I’m looking forward to reading to re-reading Tamora Pierce books - particularly her Trickster duology.

But it’s not really what I’m looking for.

I’m looking for a novel set in the Middle East, possibly at a court of some sort, with mystical elements and such. The food descriptions, the scent descriptions, things like that. The culture really.

But I fear now there aren’t many books like that :/

It’s sorta funny and cute actually. Like, maybe slightly annoying but sorta cute. :’D

I’ve seen a lot of people regretting pushing it which is why I’m putting it off so I don’t get fed up. But my curiosity is getting the best of me.

Hi! I saw that someone asked about Hush, Hush. I've read the first two books of the Hush, Hush series and didn't like them at all. So, I technically wouldn't recommend them, but I think that you will probably enjoy them a lot if you also enjoyed Twilight because I sort of disliked them for the same reason. If you're not sure about this maybe you can try to get it from the library or something, though. :)

The best book I read in 2014 was Moby-Dick and wow do I wish I had read it sooner!
