What was Cinder reaction when skyfire disappeared

He didn't want to believe it at first, and spent days waiting for Skyfire. When he didn't return though, Cinder knew he was now alone.

So following cynderhyms story, I got that at some point after the primes betrayal that skyfire was still there with cynder. But I've been reading and what happened for skyfire that sentinel gained custody over cynder?

Initially Sentinel approached Skyfire with false concern over the energon drought. Airachnid told him that Skyfire was yapping about how he still felt Starscream alive through their sparkbond- and he couldn't risk Skyfire going out to find him. So he asked Skyfire to search for old energon deposits scattered throughout different planets. Skyfire was heavily against this idea.

In the end, after a few (empty) promises from Sentinel, he gave in and left Cybertron while Quintesson activity was at its lowest. He never came back though, and ended up frozen on Earth due to an emergency pit stop.

Despite the initial plan to get rid of the whole family, Sentinel chose to spare Cinder

So now that we know that cyber feels abandoned by skyfire how does he feel about seeing him in the iacon 5000?

Or is it possible that this au ditches skyfire being a racer completely?

In this AU it's a bit of both; Skyfire used to be a racer of the Iacon 5000, but was not there to participate during the events of the movie.

Cinder appreciates the blanket and snack. He really likes clementines :)

If they live for millions of years how often are sparklings born? Like how many generations to a household does it depend on when they were forged or constructed?

Sparklings are a curious thing because there's no actual need for them. Bots can be cold constructed or forged in the Well of Allsparks and already have most of the needed upgrades and systems needed to navigate Cybertron!

In Melting Point, sparklings are more of a want rather than a need. Sparklings are born whenever two or more cybertronians want to settle down and raise a newborn from scratch. They're expensive to care for so not everyone can have them.

Though this doesn't mean it's always a good thing. Sparklings can come from contracted pairs; high castes will benefit from the social rank, reputation, or shanix from another by marrying off a member or two of their House, and in turn the marriage is sealed by an offspring. Casanova comes from a contract trine. Cinderhymn, on the other hand, was born because Skyfire and Starscream felt everything was secure enough to settle down- and wanted to raise a little bot made from their own sparks.

TD:LR - it depends! Sparklings are rare on cybertron, though high caste Houses tend to have more due to them having enough shanix to care for them.

In you au, does Skyfire and Starscream reunite again in the future? Or does Cinderhymn ever see Skyfire again?

Yes, the family ends up reuniting!

On Earth, though, after the war. Skyfire is freed from the arctic by GHOST, and Optimus allows him to reunite with Starscream. Consequently that also means setting him free, which isn't the best idea at the start

Skyfire and Cinderhymn meet a little after that, though Cinder's gotten old while Skyfire hasn't. Neither will recognize each other right away

So you ship Megatron and Tempestsong……. How do the creator units feel about that one? 💀

Very conflicted on Skyfire's part, and furious on Starscream's part </3

Despite being on opposite teams, Skyfire at least is willing to give Tempestsong's partners (he's also courting another mech) a try even if he doesn't think they're the best for him. He's not happy but over time he definitely grows to understand why they gravitate towards each other.

Starscream went through the stages of grief but got stuck at denial and anger. Though he shouldn't be too surprised that his son inherited his bad habit of horrible decision making
