I've been meaning to ask you this one for a while. Dour Candy or History Will Absolve Me?

It’s really close, but Dour Candy. It’s not really because of anything Billy did differently between the two albums. He’s one of the most consistent emcees ever and he’s been that dope since Camouflage. But I’m a huge fan of Blockhead’s production and I think that Billy Woods sounds great over those instrumentals, so I choose Dour Candy. I wouldn’t mind hearing another collab project from them.

dude am I crazy or is this new Busdriver album some of his best work yet

haha wow, i was just going to post about this and then i saw that i had a message.  i completely agree though, i think this is easily his best album since fear of a black tangent. i can’t believe how good it is! plus there’s still 3 bonus tracks that we haven’t heard, i don’t think they leaked yet anyway. what stood out the most to me on the first listen is how good his singing is on this album, especially on upsweep, motion lines, and when the tooth-lined horizon blinks. man, hellfyre club really is killing it this year. 3 for 3 right now and the best part is we’ve still got milo’s album to look forward to later this month.
