Somethings we looked trough today are 1. 40-50 Fela Kuti LP’s from B’s early eighties trip to Lago’s where he purchased the records direct from @felakutiofficial himself. 2. Two SEALED copies of every #folkwaysrecords release 3. 2500 signed LP’s everything from #robertdeniro on the Taxi Soundtrack to @johnnycash signatures on early @sunrecordspage LP’s 4. Thousands of bootleg @gratefuldead cassettes 5. one crazy Indian LP donated by @steveespopowers - this amazing collection is looking for a new home, @christopherplant has an idea to bring it to #Philly. The Philly team did a good job of pointing out every connection the collection had to Philadelphia. The point was well taken - There’s a lot of work to be done, but Philly needs to wake up, and stop sleeping.. we need to open our hearts and arms and welcome things like this.
