Somehow Stefan was plagued with the joyous task of watching his neighbors' dog. It was a new puppy and it liked to tear things up when they weren't around in the house. Another reason why Stefan questioned himself on why he'd taken the babysitting gig. Since he didn't want his apartment smelling like dog he decided to take it to the park, and let him run itself tired.

He grabbed the leash, putting it on the dog and started walking toward the park. As he walked he took in the view, not that it was much to take in since everything look the same. The same black and white blotches, but he liked to imagine what some things looked like. Like the different reds and oranges the leaves of the tress would be, and how green the grass could really be.

Stefan wasn't really paying much attention to the the energized ball of fur on the end of his leash, too into his thoughts of color. And he was too late reacting to the dog running across the street to chase after a squirrel it caught trail of. 'Damnit.' He thought as he ran after the little pest. He slowed down, placing his hands on his knees, once he caught up to the dog and the person that was clearly more qualified than he in dog care.

"Sorry about that. Didn't know the stereotype of dogs liking squirrels was true."

Stefan looked over at the person, his breath catching in his throat as he did. All at once the world before him started feeling in with color. Actual color, the very thing he was thinking about not 5 seconds ago. And it was overwhelming. Amazingly overwhelming. He looked back over at the person, the person with brown hair and hazel eyes.

"Wow."
