Gillian Blake- Dora from “Follyfoot.”
7/11/25.
This release deserves the exclamation, "what on god's green earth?!". The Gymkhana (Hook, England) are Patch (Patrick) Hannan (The Sundays), and Jason Applin (Bennet). According to the Bandcamp page, "Each song uses the narrative of 1970s children’s tv show Follyfoot as a starting point for off-kilter pop songs".
The members of The Gymkhana have been around long enough to be able to coax some heavyweight collaborators: Eddie Argos (Art Brut), Duglus Stewart (BMX Bandits), Gerard Love (Teenage Fanclub/Lightships), Jesse Chandler (Midlake).
Each song has an interlude of narration from Christian Rodska, who appeared as Ron Stryker in Follyfoot.

This was not a description I ever expected to see in a review of Follyfoot:
Steve!
