I'm currently feeling sort of tempted to actually attempt writing something based on the things we all discussed in this post
So if I do attempt this, do I do Victorian or modern?

this isnt even a criticism this is me being genuinely perplexed and asking a question: what is the s&co writers deal with constantly making jokes about john being fat and eating too much? i swear thats been half of the greek interpreter so far
I guess it's based in the fandom's idea that Watson really loves his food which in itself is fair enough (I can't remember where this idea comes from though, I cannot remember if this is a canonically implied thing. I mean I think he's supposed to be fairly stout? Except when he first meets Holmes and he's lost a lot of weight because of illness and everything). Pretty sure there are a few suggestions in the Granada series that he loves food too but, yeah, there's just suggesting John loves his food and is stocky or fat or whatever you want to call him to reflect this pre-existing idea and there's making him the butt of jokes for that. It's all a bit much sometimes in this. Also I guess since Mycroft is apparently 'fit and toned and sexy' in this they can't make jokes about him being fat or eating a lot so it has to be John.
do you think dr. james mortimer and sherlock holmes could have some yaoiful potential (with That One scene).................. #fruitful endeavors
listen anon i drew this entire thing for you because this idea also floated in the darkest pits of my brain.....fruitful indeed.
If Evri could stop losing my packages that would be super
(No I never got the package they lost somewhere in their depot a month ago. Now they've 'mislaid' another one. The tracking just said it's delayed then hasn't updated since tuesday but if I look at the tracking info on ebay for it it actually says there they sent it to the wrong depot???)

I wasn't very active here last month, so I want to share how people were injured in May by a Russian strike drone. It fell nearby and this experience, how the glass flies out of the door and how the room fills with smoke and dust and there is screaming in the street because there are wounded. And these are ordinary Russians, ordinary Russians launch drones, scout and direct them at people. For them, it is a way to spread fear and intimidate, kill and maim. And then pretend that nothing happened. I don't want to show any photos or videos because over the years you have all become so used to Ukrainians having to traumatize themselves twice: first experiencing it and then seeing and publishing photos from the scene. Just remember that the drone falls quickly. Today it is us, a training ground, and tomorrow someone else
There are so many things I want to write/draw but for the past two days I've been completely unable to make myself care about actually doing any of those
Three days now
What would drive your blorbo to willingly kill
They would never kill
Immense manipulation
Being threatened with their life or the life of their loved ones
If they’re caught doing something illegal and need to kill the witness
War
They’d do it for fun

“The nightmares again?” Moriarty asks, and doesn’t that just make it worse for Moran? That sometimes the Professor seems to show understanding, albeit somewhat misguided understanding, towards him. If he was simply always cold then Moran could perhaps understand that more and better cope with it. In time perhaps he could even begin to move on from this almost crushing sense that his life amounts to nought without the Professor returning his regard in some significant way.
But sometimes Moriarty at least tries to be compassionate towards him, and somehow that fact makes the pain even worse, because it sometimes comes so close to what Moran craves, yet always at the last moment misses the mark.
“Yes sir,” Moran replies because it’s easier to lie than to even begin to try to put the truth into words.
“Well then.” Moriarty stands up and moves to place his own empty glass back on the sideboard. As he passes Moran’s chair he briefly pats the Colonel on the shoulder. He does not see the pained manner in which Moran, equally briefly, screws his eyes tightly shut.
