How would some of the FOM characters react to a kiss and run? A quick lips or cheek peck before running off!
Please remember to drink some water and treat yourself today! And if you don't, roll it into a better treat tomorrow, you are awesome! ☕️
I adore this, I made it so that the reader and them have an established relationship! If you wanted something different, please let me know!
Adeline:
She knows how busy she is, and can only imagine how busy you are when she keeps giving you tasks.
So a stolen moment? She'll take it all day.
But, she doesn't expect you to run up to her at the request board, barely say hello before pressing a kiss to her temple and mumbling to have a good day before youre off.
It makes her flustered all day.
Everytime she sees you, she'll try and grab you to do the same.
But it's not until she sees you later that night that she returns the favor. Kissing you sweetly.
"If you're going to kiss me, at least let me return the favor next time."
Balor:
It would always take him by surprise, no matter how many times you do it.
If you're at the Inn, and happen to give him a quick peck before heading out? He'll get made fun of by Hemlock all day.
Then he's like a lovesick puppy. Looking for you everywhere. He just wanted another kiss!
Eventually, he'll go back to his work and get his mind off you. But he is still always looking for you.
When he sees you again, you're immidately pulled into him. His hand cups your cheek and kisses you sweetly.
"Time might be money, love. But you're love is priceless."
Celine:
If you do so while she's gardening, she'll giggle to the flowers and have a little pep in her step all day.
However, if it's while she's at her shift in the General Store? She gets bright red as soon as your lips leave her cheek.
She knows you said something but she is not comprehending.
Dell will ask her why she is so red. She will tell her to go away.
When she finds you later that day, she is blushing so hard. Resting her head on your shoulder.
"Next time, try to kiss me before my shift... Dell asked why I was so red."
Eiland:
It would be after visting him at the Western Ruins, just a quick kiss because you had to leave.
But that leaves him smiling to himself as he finds an undiscovered ruin.
He knows it's silly, but when he finds it. He thinks you're the lucky charm that made it so.
Well now he has to find you, because not only does he need to show you what he found but he needs more luck to find more!
When he finds you, out of breath he explains just that to you. And you can't help but laugh at him. Giving him another kiss.
He will get all blushy.
"My greatest find, might just be you."
March:
He would be a little harder to sneak up on. You know, given that he's swinging his hammer half the time.
But if you can get him to stop and talk quick? Perfect opportunity .
You kiss his cheek quickly, ready to run off into whatever adventure was next.
But, he is quick. Grabbing your wrist and pulling you back. Kissing you quickly. Grumbling about how you can just kiss and run.
If you do manage to slip from him? He is plotting all day how he is going to get you back.
Doesn't matter where you are, or where he is. You could be as public as the inn. He is getting up, grabbing you and kissing the absolute daylight out of you.
"If you're gonna kiss me, at least do it right."
Reina:
A quick peck as you grab your bowl of soup for the day? That puts her on cloud nine.
She doesn't mind the kiss and run as much as everyone else. She watches her parents do it all the time.
But it does make her think about how sweet you are to her all the time...
So she sets up a whole date for you guys. Making your favorite foods and sweets to surprise you.
When she serves it up. She gives you a quick kiss to the cheek, giggling to herself.
"You being so sweet, made me think of how much I love you."
A/N: Thank you for reading! I hope you enjoyed and if you want any other bachelorettes/ Bachelors let me know! This was so fun!!
I have a headcannon that makes me really happy to think about....
-Terithia, Landen, and Errol have been in a polyamorous relationship since their younger years. Nobody knows that the three of them are together. They all assume they're all just good old friends, but Terithia loves calling them 'her boys'.
-Also Terithia being a ship captain has only trusted ships built by Landen.
-Terithia brings back cool treasures and artifacts for Errol.
-Errol used to bring Terithia fish from the mines he'd find and would bring different woods for Landen.
-Laden loves building furniture for Errol and Terithia. Ryis always asks if its for 'Uncle Errol' or 'Auntie Terithia' (he only calls them that when no one is around, but he knows)
-Whenever Terithia fishes up a piece of driftwood she gives it to Landen, he has a whole box of special driftwood pieces
How would the Mistria bachelors/bachelorettes react to someone hitting on the good ol farmer in front of them while they're dating? 😏
I LOVE this. Perhaps, i am a sucker for people being jealous. I didn't do all of the bachelors/ bachelorettes. So if I didn't do the one you wanted let me know!
Balor:
Balor does not handle it tactifully at all. If you are getting hit on in a market, or something of the sorts. His arm is immediately wrapped around your waist.
He does not hold back his affection for you, kissing your cheek, temple. He'll even just blatantly kiss you if the person isn't getting the message.
If they are really bothering you, he will start getting snappy. He really does prefer the subtle approach but he has gotten into plenty of fights- what's one more?
Its only when you stop him, remind him that you are his and no one else's that he agrees to just walk away. But he will be glaring daggers at them the rest of the time they even so much as exsist around you.
Celine:
She doesn't like to get jealous. She knows that you are your own person and you can't control the emotions of others.
However, she will pout like crazy if someone is flirting with you in front of her.
She's not as bold as Balor, she won't start being all over you. But she will tug on your shirt. Try to redirect your attention back onto her.
If they are really adamant about it, she will try to redirect you away. Hoping they'd get the hint with space. If it gets bad enough, she'll wrap her arms around you and glare at whoever is doing so.
It won't be till later that she even admits to you that she was jealous.
You'll have to make it up to her by helping out in the garden, or maybe a cute date night.
Ryis:
He is a pretty chill guy. He doesnt really feel the need to be super confrontational.
That being said. If someone is flirting with you? He will be petty. There is tons of "Oh honey look!" "Babe, think this look good in our birdhouse?"
He is also not above weaponizing his PDA. He will make this person regret speaking to you. Even if it's because he won't stop kissing you after every word.
He will also talk to you afterwards, making sure you guys communicate about what boundaries are okay, etc.
Reina:
If it's someone staying at the Inn, she will just pull you into the kitchen to help.
If you are somewhere that is not her hometurf? She sticks close to your side, giving the most horrendous side eye to the offender.
She clings to your arm, hanging off it like she is your newest purse/ backpack.
She leans her head on your shoulder and smiles up at you. She'll interject into the conversation about all the things you guys do togehter.
If they aren't getting the hint, she will just snap at them. She has enough patience to deal with drunk unruly people. That's not a secret. But even hers wears thin.
"Can you just stop flirting with my partner? Trust me. They aren't intrested."
March:
Listen, March will not be kind. He's going one of two ways.
The first route he'll take is pouting. If someone is flirting with you hardcore and he doesn't think you're doing anything? He'll just get all huffy and walk away.
Later, you'll have to talk to him and tell him that you are only intrested in him.
Option number two, and the more likely option. He's going to just tell this person straight how it is.
His arm is wrapped around you, pressing you close to his side as he glares at the person.
"Hey, so they're kinda my partner. And I'm not intrested in sharing. So can you fuck off?"
if that doesn't get them to lay off, he will just pick you up and carry you away. He has no shame. You are his.
A/N: I hope you guys enjoyed! I'm so sorry it took me so long to get to this! And if there is anyone else that you'd like to see let me know!
Hi! I really like your blog! What do you think each of the bachelors could do to help the player on the farm?
I'm referring to what happened after the player's wedding.
omg yes!! I can not wait to marry, March, everyone! I hope they do more in the game than just the SDV partners.
(Also, also I do not have Calderus unlocked yet. I know he's marryable but I do not know anything about him so he is not included.)
Balor:
I think his most bare minium thing, would be feeding the animals and letting them outside.
It's simple, it can be quick if you have an auto feeder.
But what I really think he would do, is handle more of the business side of the farm.
We already know that he takes the overnight shipments and sells them. I just think he'd expand that role.
Once he's actually seeing the day to day on the farm, he'd help out by running the numbers, getting you higher quality seed for the lowest prices possible.
He wants to see you thrive, but espeically Mistria too.
He does, however try to get out of the heavy work unless you bed him for help.
He loves you. He does not love the manual labor that comes with a farm.
March:
I think he'd find watering the crops to be really peaceful and a good way to have an easy morning.
However, if you have a large farm... we'll he's the one hooking up and building a sprinkler system.
I also think March would like to hang out with any barn animals... the chickens and such he'd still do. But just... less enthustically about it.
I really do think March would make TONS of improvements around the farm. Little things like fixing fencing, checking the automated systems, making sure your tools are still in good shape.
He really seems like the kinda of guy that loves a good act of service, so helping like that would be what he would be best at.
He, unlike Balor, does not mind the heavy lifitng ether. He knows your capable but he's always there to help.
Hayden:
I know I don't normally write for Hayden, however I don't think I could write this without including him. I mean, man has an entire farm already.
I think he'd really thrive with helping the animals. He clearly has a very loving relationship with all of his animals so that would just naturally move over to yours once you're married.
You and him probably have an agreement- you handle the crops, he handles the livestock.
He'd also be a really big asset in what you guys can plant, and when to do so. I think being from such of long line of Mistrian farmers, he really knows a lot about what grows best when and where.
You guys have an absolutely beautiful and thriving farm/ farms.
Ryis:
I think Ryis is probably a mix of March and Hayden. He really likes to help out by fixing things before they're broken. He probably walks around and sips his coffee in the morning to check on everything.
But I also think he would really love helping with the animals. I mean this man is a bird watcher. He would LOVE to feed the chickens, ducks and other animals and then just watch them walk around your farm.
I do think that he is kinda an everyman. If you need something on the Farm, he is offended if you don't ask him for help first.
Need to be somewhere early? Fear not, he'll water the crops and feed the animals. Yes he can handle.
I think he'd also help out a lot by helping clean up the farm. When the seasons change and all that lovely debris is all over. He's out there right along side you clearing the farm and making it nice.
Like I said, he's an everything man. He'd be more than happy to do whatever you need. He's just got his preferences.
Eiland:
This man is not afraid to get dirty. So I can only imagine he'd love helping you plant, and clear the land.
Clearing the land is probably his most favorite because you never know what you're going to find! If there's a chance for history he will take it.
But I also think Eiland would like to plant your crops. He'd make little comments about how these strawberries would take awfully good in a tart...
He'd come home with more seeds for it the next day and a big grin.
I also think he'd be a huge asset for helping get funding for bigger projects and such.
Barn needs an upgrade? Let him go talk to Adeline, she'll help get some paperwork drafted for a grant.
You want a sprinkler system? March owes him a favor and he can probably also get more funding for that.
This man has a lethal puppy dog face and I don't think anyone is Mistria can say no to him- especially not when he's asking for favors for their favorite farmer.
Bonus Calderus:
He gets to sit there and look pretty. /j
I think overall- all of the Bachelors would do pretty much anything on the farm for you. But I also think that they would have their own little specialties that they'd much rather do than anything else.
A/N: I hope you enjoyed!! I promise I am working on getting Calderus- I just really hate the mines guys.
A/n: Hello everyone! I was super inspired by the shooting star festival and wanted to write something a little more expanded on it. I hope you all enjoy! I also did not proof read this- im uploading at school. SHhh
Summary: You get a star broach from Elise, then proceed to get read to flith from everyone in town before you ask March to go with you.
Warnings: None!
You hadn’t expected to see Elsie on your doorstep, bright and early. “Elise?” Your voice comes out confused, a little worried that something had happened. Or worse, there was another project that Adeline wanted your help for.
“Y/N!” She says cheerfully, a mischievous glint in her eyes. Her ever permanent smile even wider than normal. “How are you this fine morning?”
Raising an eyebrow at her, you reply; “...Fine?”
Elsie laughs, sensing the skepticism from the sound of your voice. “Oh dear, I am just here to tell you about our Shooting Star Festival.” She holds up her open palm, showing a small star shaped broach. At first glance it didn’t look like much. “This event happens every summer, it is a most beautiful event. Many of us watch it together with our loved ones as it’s said to bound your souls together.” She winks as she says that part. You can’t help but feel a bit of warmth in your cheeks. “If you’d like to watch it with any… romantic partners you can give them this broach. If they don’t accept then that is their loss.”
You can feel your cheeks grow even warmer at the idea that Elise knows exactly who you’re going to be asking. It was kinda obvious, you knew that. Half the town made fun of you for how you always rush to the forage first thing in the morning. It was kinda desperate, you thought. Swallowing down your embarrassment you gingerly take the broach. “Does everyone have one?”
Elise nods, “Mmh. I have given every single person in this town one. Well, those who are unmarried that is. For now.” She winks again at you. Having to duck your own head away so she can’t see the way her words affect you.
“Th-Thanks.” You smile at Elise. “I will...uh, figure out who to tie my soul too…?” You say tracing the edge of the broach.
“Oh dear, you already know.” She laughs, covering her mouth. Her amusement was probably the worst part about all of this. “But the summit is the best place to watch. I suggest there for privacy too.” She grins, turning on her heel and waving. “Tah-tah~”
Watching Elsie retreat after she just basically called you out for your massive crush on March was not how you wanted to start your morning. But, carefully tucking the broach into your bag so you could get started on the farm work you had to get done for today.
As you worked dutifully, you couldn’t help but feel...worried? I mean that was a big ask for someone. What were you even supposed to say? ‘Hey March! Do you wanna tie our souls together and watch the stars with me?’ But everything in your gut told you-- it was March or no one. You knew that deep in your soul. Pausing for a second, you look over at Caldarus’s statue.
Dropping your tools and walking over, sitting in front of him. “Caldarus?”
The sound of stone moving against itself emits as his eyes open to look at you. “Ah, Y/N. What can I be of assistance with today?”
“What do you know about the Shooting Star Festival?”
There’s a brief pause as he thinks, and then speaks gently. “It is a night where magic fills not only the land in which we step but also the air in our lungs. It is a powerful night to manifest things such as hopes and dreams. Why do you ask, Y/N?” Unsure if you should blurt out your feelings for March to the dragon on your farmland. You hesitate for a moment. Caldarus speaks again, “Is this about what Elsie had spoken to you about?”
Your face grows warm again, “H-How did you know?” You blurt out, unexpectedly finding yourself called out by a dragon.
“You have seemed distracted ever since then.” He says simply, “Unlike yourself. I can only think of the reason being that you are overthinking.”
“...fine. You got me. You read me like an open book.” You sigh, shaking your head. “I’m just worried about it is all! I mean I’ve only been here one season. Is that...really enough time?” You ask, looking up at him.
The comfort, faintly somewhere in your subconscious, feels as if Caldarus has put a hand on your head. “Time… is fickle. It does not bend, nor break because we wish for it too. It flows like water, sometimes harsh waves of realization and other times a steady flow as you watch it. But time, dear farmer...it does not dictate your life. If you feel as though it is the right thing to do, then you must seize the moment and do so.”
“But...I mean…”
“I know you hesitate because being rejected is something you fear. But fear often fuels us with the bravery to do something we’d never do. I, have had to put my faith into you in helping me. But had I been worried about time, and if it was too soon? Well then perhaps we would have never met. Think on it, Y/N. You must only make a choice by nightfall.”
With your conversation running in your head, you continue to clear the farm. Prepped and ready to go for another season. But now finding yourself in the Inn with a fresh bowl of soup. You look at the broach you’d set in front of you. For half a second you think about just writing his name on it and throwing it at him. He’d accept- right? He had too.
But what if March didn’t want that? What if March didn’t want to be bound to you specifically? You’d not even been in Mistria for a whole year yet. How could you ask that of him? Of anyone? So lost in your own thoughts you didn’t even notice Josephine slide into the booth across from you. “Y/N?”
Your head snaps up, scrambling for the broach. Face warm as you try to explain frantically that you weren’t muddling over who to ask! But Jo just smiles. “When I asked Hemlock, he was a blushing stuttering mess.” She starts, her voice gentle- soothing. “I like to tease him about it now, but in reality I felt the same way on the inside. I knew we liked each other. We had been on a few dates prior but, something about asking him to spend it just the two of us? I didn’t know if I could.” She sighs wistfully as she starts to remember the moments. A far away look in her eye starting to form. “But I didn’t want anyone else. I just wanted him. So I grabbed the broach and I marched into his house. It took all my courage to ask but he said yes.”
Tilting your head as you listen, nodding along to her words you can’t help but wonder. “And… you’re telling me this…?”
“Because I stared at the broach the same way you are now.” Jo smiles, “Wondering the same questions that I bet you are. No matter who you ask, and what their answer is. You will have a place to watch the stars. Even if you come sit with us.”
Smiling at her reassurance, letting out a breath of relief. “Thanks Jo… I..I don’t know what I’d do without you.” And the talking dragon statue in my front yard. But her words to soothe the part of your brain that was gnawing at the idea of March hating you..
She smiles, standing up and patting your shoulder. “I think he’ll say yes. For the record. That boy loves hard.” She winks. Getting up and going back behind the bar. For the second time that day you can feel your cheeks heating at the thought that half the town knows about your massive crush on March.
Full from lunch, but nauseous because of the butterflies in your stomach, you finally find your way to the forage. March stands there, swinging his hammer with precision. The clang of metal on metal echoes through the town. The beat of his hammer mirroring the beat of your heart. Slowly, your feet carry you closer. Standing far enough away that he could see you, but you aren’t in the way. Watching the way his arms, more specifically the muscles in his arms, move with controlled power. God, how you wanted nothing more than to be held by those arms…
As he finishes up, he looks up. “Hey Y/N.”
“Hey,” You say softly stepping closer, trying to rid yourself of the thoughts on his muscles. “How are you?”
“Fine.” March shrugs, another nail joining the barrel full. “What do you want?” His voice comes out gruffly, continuing to move around the forage. Watching him clean his workspace, but still cast his eyes over to you as you speak.
“I can’t just stop to talk?” You ask, fiddling with the broach in your hands. “Sue me for wanting to talk to you.”
March turns to look over at you, rather unimpressed. “Mmh.” He sets down his clipboard as he crosses his arms. Leaning against the counter. “I know you better than that. You have something for me, or you want something. But you know I don’t do hand outs so what do you have?”
Letting out a sigh as he reads you like an open book. We’re you really that easy to read? You step closer to him, ignoring the way his body. “March..” You start, but the words die in your throat as you look at his beautiful dark eyes. His face, so sweetly knitted with concern for whatever the issue was… You couldn’t do this! You couldn’t just say it to his face! So, instead you take his hand, putting the broach in his. “Let’s watch the starts together.” You say quickly.
March’s cheeks go as red as his hair. Looking down at your hand holding his. Then at the broach that Elise had insisted he would need with a stupid grin. But it wasn’t his, it was yours. You were asking him. Oh no, he was just standing there looking at you blankly. Watching the way your confidence slowly started to whittle away. Coming to his senses, he reaches into his back pocket. Pulling out his own and pinning it to your shirt. “If I say no, Orlic will never let me hear the end of it.” He scoffs, trying to play nonchalant.
And just like that, you had a date to the Shooting Star Festival.
The rest of the day goes by in a blur of rushing to put on your best outfit. Something comfortable, cool, not to nice- just in case it was more of a friend thing. But even so, you’re on cloud nine as you walk around during nightfall. The air growing colder, and more brisk as the sunsets on summer one last time. You make your way around to say hello to everyone, all of them giving you knowing glances. If you weren’t afraid of standing March up? You would have ran home and watched them.
He sits next to Orlic, talking idly. But a jacket sits next to him, along with blankets and pillows. He was so prepaired…
“March?” You say to grab his attention. He looks over at you, face heating again as you watch him look you up and down.
“Hey. Ready to go?” He asks, standing and reaching down to grab the basket of stuff. You also reach for it, hands brushing as you look at each other. “I got it..” He whispers, hauling it up with ease. You don’t miss the way his cheeks redden at the touch. “Orlic, you gonna be okay?” He asks, looking over at his brother.
Orlic gives a big grin and thumbs up. “Yeah! I’m gonna go watch it with Hemlock and Jo!” He says cheerfully. “You guys have fun!” He says brightly as he jogs away.
“Idiot…” March sighs affectionately under his breath. Looking back to you, nodding his head toward the summit. “Come on, we don’t wanna miss it.”
You follow March up, wanting to take hold of his hand or just...something. A few times as you walk next to each other, hands brushing against one another. He finally takes hold of yours. “The summit steps are kinda steep.” Is all he says as he does.
Reaching the peak of the summit. You and March sit side by side under the stars. The feeling of the cool air now that it was properly nightfall settling in. A shiver running up your spine as you rub your arms. March’s eyes flick over to you, but he quickly looks away. Deciding to make it a little less awkward you speak up. “So, did you and Orlic used to watch this with your family?”
March’s eyes go wide, his eyebrows nearly touching his hairline. “M-My family?” He stammers out. “No.” He says quickly, getting over the initial surprise. Turning his face away from you. “Orlic and I didn’t have time to do that as a kid.” His voice sounding...almost bitter.
Before you can ask anything else, he looks at you. “Can we talk about something else?”
The earnestness in his voice shocking you, leaving you to just nod. Another stretch of silence before you speak up again. “The stars are beautiful.” You say softly.
March lets out a groan as he turns to you. “Y/N, why did you really ask me to come here?” His gaze intense, like he was just waiting for the other ball to drop. Like he was waiting for you to say something so he could leave.
Opening and closing your mouth as the shock settles in. He really didn’t figure it out yet? You had thought that when you gave him the broach it was going to be...kinda unspoken. “Because...I like you?” You say slowly, confused.
March’s eyes go wide again, turning away but the blush on the tips of his ears impossible to ignore. “Q-quit messing around.” He scoffs, then after a faint pause, “Just shut up and watch the stars.”
“Right..,” You mumble, looking at the hands in your lap. Trying to remember all the things that Jo and Caldarus had told you. But it doesn’t help. Rejection settling in the pit of your stomach; you hadn’t thought you’d get rejected on a night with such beautiful meaning. You’d have to resign that you and March might never be anything more than friends. Taking a deep breath to stop any undue tears from forming. Another gust of wind sending another shiver down your spine.
“I didn’t realize they’d be so clear up here.” March whispers, his voice having a slight awe to it. Then, smoothly his arm wraps around your shoulders. A blanket. He wrapped a blanket around your shoulders. His arm staying put as well, like he wanted to be in the position.
You shake your head, “I’ve never seen anything like it…”
“You didn’t watch them where you’re from?” He asks, leaning his head on yours. The feeling sending flutters back into your stomach, finally relaxing into him
“I did.” You answer simply. “But they aren’t as clear as this..”
March looks down at you, taking in all the features of your face in the moonlight. Normally during this time, you’d be running past him with a backpack full of fish or rocks depending on what your day had consisted of. But with the starlight adding a certain sparkle to your eyes… He looks back at the sky. “Almost feels as if they’re drawing you up, doesn’t it?”
Leaning further into him, you give a simple nod. “Yeah,” Looking back up at him. Only to find him already looking at you. Faces centimeters apart.
“Did you mean it?” He whispers, reaching up to cup your cheek. “You like me?”
His hand warm on your cheek as you lean into it. Nodding slowly. “Thought that was kinda a given…” You laugh softly.
March scoffs, his face burning. “Well...I mean.” He lets out a heavy sigh, and you swear there is a slight pout. “I didn’t want to assume.”
Laughing softly you find yourself agreeing. “I kinda thought you had a think for Reina.” You tell him, “You and here seem so close.”
“Reina? Really?” He says tilting his head. “She’s nice don’t get me wrong, but I’d never be able to like...go out with her.”
“Why not?” You ask.
“...As cliché as it sounds she’s more like a sister to me.” He says quietly. “My parents...well...they weren’t around when we were younger. So Jo and Hemlock really stepped up. So did Nora and Holt. But, we spent a lot of nights at the Inn growing up.” He explains, voice tight as he does so. His grip on your shoulder getting a little tighter, almost as if he’s trying to ground himself.
Putting a hand on his leg, giving a little squeeze you speak quietly. “Thank you for telling me.”
“Don’t think this means you can pity me now.” March snaps, “I’m not a sob story.”
“I know.” You say quickly. “I wouldn’t think that- I don’t think that. I...I just want to know you March, is that so wrong?”
March’s eyes scan your face, trying to access the sincerity in your tone. “My favorite color is green. Jade Green. I like working with copper the most, I started learning with it, so maybe I’m just partial. I was six when I first tried to make something in the forage.” He lists off facts, things that would normally never come up in conversation.
“What did you make?”
March laughs a little, shaking his head. “Olric still has it. It’s three blobs, really. I was trying to make an action figure. He says it’s his favorite part of his rock collection.” He rolls his eyes affectionately.
The night continues like that, sharing little anecdotes about your lives. Getting to know each other on more than just the surface level. Everything you learn about March both makes you fall more in love with him, and somehow makes him more endearing. But all good things must come to an end, and the last start shot across the sky nearly half an hour ago.
“C’mon.” March sighs, getting up as he offers a hand to help you up. “I’ll walk you back to the Farm.”
Accepting the help up, trying not to think about how he lifts you up with ease. “You don’t have too. I run around in the dark all the time.”
March raises an eyebrow at you. “If you trip on your way back, I’ll never hear the end of it.” Moving to collect the blankets and pillows you were sitting on. The two of you together make quick work and then you’re off. His hand finding yours again before they can even brush against each other.
The walk back to the farmhouse remains in a comfortable silence. Once reaching the entrance you look over at March, “Thanks. I had a lot of fun tonight.” You smile at him.
He turns his face away, the blush still prominent in the moonlight. “You haven’t been walked home yet.”
Confused, you raise an eyebrow and tilt your head at him. “We’re on my farm.”
“But we’re not at your door.” He argues. “Don’t think I’m not making sure you get all the way inside. I know you’ll try to keep doing shit and wake up late tomorrow.”
You open your mouth to protest, but you can see debris starting to collect on the farm. And you totally weren’t thinking that you could just...quickly clean up. Deflating at once again being read like an open book, you turn toward your door. “Am I really that easy to read?” You complain.
March rolls his eyes, pushing you playfully. “It’s like a kids book.” He teases.
“Hey!”
The two of you break into laughter, March leaning against the side of your house as the laughter dies down. “Goodnight, Y/N. I had a really good night.” He smiles softly.
“...you think our souls are really star bound now?” You ask, unlocking the door. Waiting to step inside until he’s ready to leave.
March looks at you for a long moment before he nods, “Yeah. I think we are.” Pushing off the house, he leans down at kisses your forehead. “I’ll see you bright and early tomorrow.”
You smile, face warming at the sweet gesture. “See you tomorrow, March.”
With that, you head inside. Placing March’s star broach down on your bedside table, getting ready for bed. Ready to welcome Fall, and welcome whatever March and you had become tonight. Star bound lovers? Best friends? It didn’t matter. You’d welcome it, him and all of whatever Mistria had to throw at you come tomorrow.
Once March gets home, he lays in bed. Thinking of you, the way your eyes sparkled in the starlight. He always though that the saying you bound yourself to whoever you watched the stars with was stupid. But now, the idea that you’d ever leave him? Leave Mistria? He knew it wasn’t some old wives tale. No matter where you went, he’d follow.
A/N: I wasn't super sure how to end it at all. But I hope this is good! If you guys enjoyed it please feel free to let me know! Requests are also open!
i have seen so many girl dad March posts... all I can say is the biggest, phattest yes. I am so close to writing something for it. You guys have no idea.
Can all the bachelors and bachelorettes from FoM sing, or at least know how to?
Ooooh this is a good one!! I’m gonna do who can and can’t sing as two separate categories.
Can’t Sing:
- Balor: sorry buddy. I just look at him and I’m convinced he can’t hold a tune. I think he can ‘sing’ I can see an easier song- one that’s more spoken in tune rather than sung sounding really good. But as for singing? No. Mans can’t sing.
- Juniper: I love her. I really do. But I can not be convinced she can sing. I’ve heard her laugh (/aff) and I think she would be tone deaf. I’m so sorry.
- Adeline: Simualr to Baylor, I dont think she’s awful if she tries. But I think she’s a hummer not a singer if that makes sense.
Can Sing:
- Celine: My beloved girl can sing. She sings as pretty as the flowers in her garden. She probably sings shyly, I don’t see her being an overpowering voice. But I also like to imagine she sings lullabies to Dell when she spends the night.
- Ryis: He can sing. 100% there’s no doubt in my mind. He’s like a disney prince singing to his beloved birds. I also think he can whistle like a pro, he likes to say the birds taught him.
- Valen: I can not explain this. She can sing. And it’s Opera. I think she’d fuck up the Opera bro, she’s got this regal sophistication that just screams Opera.
- Eiland: I think he’s better at singing that his sister, but still not the best out of those who can sing. Similar to how Adeline hums while she works, I can see him digging and singing to himself.
- Reina: She can sing too, for sure! Hemlock is a performer, I definitely think it’s something she inherited from her dad. Plus I can see her jamming out in the kitchen and singing while she’s really in the zone for cooking.
-March: I think he can sing. But he would rather take that to his grave than ever admit it. He doesn’t hum, he doesn’t whistle. You would think this man has no musical bone in his body but then he’d be rocking your baby to sleep one night and you’d hear the most soft and beautiful voice from him.
Wild Cards:
- Hayden: I genuinely can not think if He would be a good singer, or a bad but endearing singer. If he’s good, then he sings to his animals every night some sweet country and they love it. If he’s bad? Then he still does it but they all love it still because he’s trying his best. I think he’d ether have the voice of an angel or sound like a raccoon trying to get out of a garbage can.
Bonus!
- Orlic: I think he’s got the voice of an angel. He gets so much praise and love from everyone because he sounds so good. He’d sing any and every where he got the chance. Not to show off necessarily but just because he likes it and it makes people smile!
