I headcanon march as extra clingy when he’s sleepy so when farmer (who stayed over his place the night before) has to wake up extra early to head back to the farm & let the animals out, he absolutely refuses to let go.

his voice raspy, heavy with sleep as his arms gently grip at farmer’s waist, “don’t go yet… please.” he yawns halfway through his sentence and his eyes aren’t even completely open yet but his gentle grip is still strong.

in the end, it takes a lot of kisses and affection to get him to let you go.
