Hey guys! Hope you all had a wonderful weekend. When @fomofeed invited me to participate in their #fomofeedathome challenge, I wasn’t sure what I wanted to suggest. But now that I’ve gotten into the habit of the new normal, I’m excited to share with you some great tips that’s been serving me well. At first reality felt overwhelming but I’ve moved on and am now more determined than ever to make the most out of this quarantine! Everything’s going to be okay and we’re going to get out of this stronger, kinder and better human beings. In the meanwhile, try out some of my recommendations below and let me know when you do! 1. 🚰🔁 Start a new routine! It’s a great time to jumpstart a new healthy habit. An easy one that I’ve been doing to drink more water. There’s a bunch of apps out there that help you keep track of your intake and sends you reminders to keep hydrated. Your skin will look better than ever. 2. 👨🎨🎨 Make art! I splurged on art supplies, but it doesn’t take much to create art! A notepad and a pencil is all you need to get started. I’ve been sketching my boyfriend’s plants as often as I can, and it’s been a great way to calm my nerves. 3.👷♂️🛠️ Home Projects! In the past 2 weeks, my boyfriend and I have painted almost every single wall in our apartment. We also re-organized all of our furniture while consolidating and deep cleaning the whole entire place! Marie Condo would be proud. #somuchjoy 4.👨🏫🌎 Learn a new language! Admittedly, my Spanish lessons have slowed down significantly since the quarantine but @duolingo is a free app that makes learning a new language easy and fun. Imagine a world where you get out of quarantine speaking a whole new language. 5.💭🔮Make a vision board. Bae and I came up with a great idea to put our new printer to work. It’s easy to spiral into darkness during these times. Instead why not imagine a better and brighter future? With all the time we have for self-reflection, what matters to us most is now more evident than ever. Print out images that speak to your envisioned future and pin them up on a wall. It’ll be a great reminder that the best is yet to come. 📸: @newmuseum @martaminujin (at New Museum) https://www.instagram.com/p/B-XAtc5Fq7n/?igshid=gadga5np1lz9
