The Detective Trio Duo:

Rodger and Fontal used to be an unstoppable detective duo. They found Toodles and took her in as an apprentice. After a while, Rodger realized that the reason why Fontal was so good at his ‘hypnosis tricks’ was because he had actually been blessed by the God of Ichor, Vivian(Floof). Something he never wanted. Lord Dyle took notice of this and forced Fontal to be his servant and help him with his crimes. Rodger and Toodles were on their own now. They still solved plenty of cases still, but one of their members was…well gone. They barely saw him anymore. Then, after Dyle’s imprisonment and later execution, Tempo gets the throne. Maybe this new Lord will finally free Fontal… But no. Instead, Tempo brutally beat him in public and said it was because of all the crimes he’d helped Dyle with. Not only that, but was never freed. It was devastating for Rodger and Toodles. Skip a few years later, and Fontal was unrecognizable. He was cruel, manipulative and prideful. Nothing like his past kind, just, and helpful self. Now that a literal Countess had gone missing near the borders of the Tempus Empire, Rodger was obliged to get involved in the case. But for some reason…the kidnapper’s methods reminded him of something…someone…he couldn’t outsmart for once. Like the person knew exactly how he thought. Hopefully they wouldn’t harm Toodles… whoever they were.
