I finally figured out how to make a font!!!! yayyyy

It is a bit fat, and not that readable under font soze 16, but it's fineee this fineee this is like a caligraphic font. they're not supposed to be that readable anywayssss,,,

I made it using glyphrstudio, which is a very intuative web app, but it is a bit on the simpler side - which worked great for me 👍 also fontforge just doesn't work at all on my computer for some reason so I'm glad something did.

I won't go very deep into the letters, but here is abit about the punctuation:

a single dot, seperating words in a compound. equivilent to the dash and apostrophe in the romanisation.

double dots, separating words in a sentence. equivilent to a space.

triple dots, separating sentences. equivilent to a period. appears at the start and end of a sentence.

A font for the wizards' magical speak.

god this was so much faster lol

I have no idea what wizards sound like when they use magic speak, but that is not going to have an answer until someone hands me a bucket of money to animate it or something

With help from @sannehtahaua, I tweaked the IIMF on the /j/ and made new finals for /k/, /t/, /d/, /x/, and /χ/.

Now the questions are posed: Do I make new finals for the other four common finals? Do I rearrange and add a kerning class to remove the delimiters after the final syllable of a word?

re-attempting to learn fontforge in order to make a better font for Ngįout and Kshafa. Glyphrstudio is simple and intuative, but god making ligatures is a pain in the ass, and considering the script I'm making a font for is an abugida - that's a lot of ass pain.

Currently at figuring out the vector drawing part of the program, and I think I've figured out enough for what I need for this font. Now the question is if I'm going to be able to make the code for the ligatures without the program breaking, now that I have a new laptop

working on a new font for Ngįout and I'm so happy with my progress. I finely! kinda get how to use inkscape, and do the style I want - I was aiming for like a sans serif hiragana type of font

The font is almost done which will make thumbnailing pages for Handsome Hussars much easier because my handwriting is too inconsistent to be the placeholder for spacing.

[ID: The word ranmagender written in three fonts, underneath them it says Yendisian, Nyayal and My Handwriting respectively. The first two are not legible as they are fantasy fonts. The third one looks like someone's handwriting. END ID]

Made a new font, Yendisian. Unlike Nyayal im not making a whole language, yendisian is just gonna be english but with a different alphabet sort of like Galactic Basic in Star Wars.

Might have to tweak it.
