Do you enjoy how GRRM describes food? Is there one food description that you particularly enjoy?

Sometimes reading about all that food makes me hungry. I would like to try lemon cakes!

I would like to contemplate this marvel:

Me and my mam have stayed up late to make this cake for my auntie and uncle's wedding anniversary!!! It hasn't quite dried yet though ^^;

It's a generous 3 tier cake, that has been homemade and hand decorated. It is flavoured with delicate strawberry and sweet vanilla! Coated in vanilla buttercream and Wraped in a thin layer of fondant, lovingly decorated with carefully hand crafted butterflies in varying shades of pink! With there combined initials carefully placed on the top. ^.^

“As I killed one of those accursedly large spiders that had somehow wandered into my base, I noticed that.. It’s meat wasn’t the type I’ve ever seen before, nor it’s blood, as it was a more purple, otherworldly shade. And I took it upon myself to do more research on the subject. The meat inside was purple, as expected, and it seemed as though there were small hairs within the layers of the meat, and it smelt absolutely rancid. I tried to cook it thoroughly, ignoring the fact that whilst placing it over the fire the meat was still moving.

I honestly don’t think it looks better cooked, I think it just looks worse. The spider species had possibly evolved this sort of monster-like meat to avoid being eaten. And avoid eating it I will. For only a desperate fool would.”

“I decided to try the monster’s meat.. Do Not Recommend. It’s slimy, it’s scratchy, stings your throat and leaves a burning uncomfortable feeling inside your whole digestive system.”

What is your favourite food link has made you?

I could go on for days about Link's culinary wonders, but the best single dish he prepares for me is, by a very slight margin, his Seafood Rice Balls. Rice is one thing I can never seem to cook properly, but Link makes it look like a hop in the lake!

His rice is sticky enough to hold around the fishy filling, yet light enough to complement the meat. He's taken to sprinkling in some rock salt and Goron Spice into the filling as well, which provides a delightful kick and a lovely curry aftertaste! It's a bold flavor, but is light enough to not overstay its welcome. Truly, a display of affection for the tongue!

I only wish I could cook something which compares to the excellence of that dish; perhaps after more training, I will finally reciprocate all of the delightful meals Link has made for me!

Let’s think good thoughts...like how yummy pancakes taste slathered with a layer of nutella, fresh blackberries piled on top, drizzled with warm homemade blackberry syrup, a spiraly dollop of whipped cream and dark chocolate shavings.
