Serving and community service has always been something that I enjoy doing, BUT to serve for and with my church is a level of appreciation, honor, and humbleness that I just can’t describe. Today, Howard University’s WHUR 96.3 FM and Capital Area Food Bank will sponsor Food2Feed, an annual food drive that collects non-perishable food items and monetary donations to benefit needy families in the Washington Me

tropolitan area. One hundred percent of the proceeds from Food2Feed will be donated to Capital Area Food Bank and Shabach Ministries to ensure that families who may not otherwise be able to afford a meal on Thanksgiving can enjoy a healthy dinner with their families. Last year’s campaign raised more than $90,000 and collected five tons of non-perishable food. Please join us in supporting this great cause by giving a little so that others may have enough as well.
