When it Rains it Pours, BUT HE’S STILL GOD 💪🏽 - So for almost the last two months, the devil has tried his hardest y’all to keep me down and attack me at all ends. I normally deal with things alone and tough it out, but somebody needs to hear this 💯. I injured my back at my 9 to 5 in late September, which sidelined me for the rest of the cycling season and has kept me out of the gym (just when I started to be consistent 🤦🏽♂️). I was looking forward to the Breast Cancer ride and doing a ride from MGM/Tanger to Mt. Vernon, VA. Fast forward a week after my injury, my mom was admitted to ICU and given a few days to live with stage 4 cancer. Split between two households and letting myself and other things fall by the waist side, I had to press forward 😵💫 Just as I began to transition into this new normal, I walk out to this on the way to work today 🤯😭 Now this is not a why me type of thing, but this is how much my faith and GOD are my strength during this season. Things could always be worse; my family could be homeless, I could be jobless, no food in the fridge going into Thanksgiving week, anything else you could think of, but GOD is STILL GOD! I can walk, my mom is still alive, and I got good insurance 😌🙏🏽 I praise HIM regardless of rain or shine ❤️ BTW, it’s time to leave PG County, because this ain’t no “Vista of no View 😤” (at Temple Hills, Maryland) https://www.instagram.com/p/ClLMl12gwzJ/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=
