This book… it consumed me! I didn’t think anything could top the highs this amazing series brought before but I was so wrong. A masterpiece! ❤️

Tell me what I need to do to get some of you to read the Foolish Kingdoms books? Y’all are sleeping on my favorite Court Jester and his feisty Princess and that alone is one of the harshest crimes in my book. 😤

I finished “Kiss the Fae” last night and wasted no time diving into the sequel. I’ve read every book by Natalia and let me tell you…There isn’t a single story this author has written that I haven’t liked! I truly think there isn’t a single thing that she can’t write.

Natalia is the queen of breaking my heart and melding it back together within a matter of pages. She’s the queen of beautiful prose. And most importantly, Natalia is the queen of smut! 🥵

Rest assured I’ll be adding her Vicious Faeries books to my shelf very soon.

I’m reading the Foolish Kingdom, Book I: Trick right now and I—

*throws the trash of a book at the wall, and after a long pause, quietly goes to lie down and weep*

It felt as if my brain had melted in several places as I was reading the book. I felt so violated by the sheer stupidity— and goddamn it, I love trashy romances but this sham of a book is just killing me. And I just barely got past 1/4th of this book! I am trying to like it because I love the premise but the characters— good God, the characters! I WANT TO STRANGLE THEM. *breathes hard, severely irritated* It’s sooo goddamn pretentious. Isn’t this girl, Briar suppose to be 18!? So what the damn hell?? But Poet, oh dear dear God, that stupid male lead, gosh. Also I am offended by his take on jesters? Like seriously? How dare he, that trash. I‘m in love with jesters, and I just, I cannot stand to read at how this book straight up butchers them. Gosh...
