depending on whether they swap powers (summonable ally/half-human) or theming (ghosts/spiders)

powerswap: webber summons the ghosts of spiders, who are individually weak but you can build up a whole swarm of the buggers/wendy i guess just follows the standard eaten-by-a-spider storyline ? i suppose abigail could be in there too but frankly that’s horrible to contemplate even for me

themeswap: wendy can summon a giant spider (probably not queen-sized, but larger than the usual ones) to help in battle / webber is ..half-dead? let’s be frank, danny phantom is what that is

One way around this is to play the game in borderless window mode, it looks exactly the same as full screen if you set the resolution right, but it’s a little more resource intensive, and not every game supports it easily
