Not sure if I mentioned in my first foolstale post (with prankster sans/Trick) but this AU is a Swap AU, if the roles of each character didn’t make that obvious :]

In this AU, every monster represents something that makes people laugh or smile. Flowey being a water squirting flower, Temmie being a Pierrot clown, Sans and Papyrus being jesters, and Asgore and Toriel being plushies. Chara (and Frisk) acts as the audience being entertained (other roles will be revealed once their refs are done)

Introducing, my Undertale Au, FoolsTale✨🎪 ----------------------------------------------------- Ever wondered what would happen if the monsters were not sent to the underground? What if instead, the thing that was sealed was their ability to FIGHT ----------------------------------------------------- However after a crack in the timeline's code, monsters have now gained the ability to RESIST RESIST allows monsters to use defensive magic, and heightens most of their dodging capabilities, some more than others. ----------------------------------------------------- After the world began to rewrite this newfound ability, monster-kind seemed to warp to better fit the whims of this timeline, and the Dreemurr Circus was born. -----------------------------------------------------Monsters with higher agility and dodging capabilities now work as contortionists and aerialists, while those with higher defense find themselves in the roles needing more strength, like Strongmen and base acrobats. Others who are not as willing to preform work as the usual menagerie of staff, from food trucks to the ticket booth. ----------------------------------------------------- Roles I have decided upon so far include Ringmaster - Asgore Ticket Booth - Toriel Strongmen - Undyne Magician - Alphys Tightrope walker / Aerialist - Muffet Manipulation artist - Sans & Papyrus Food stand worker - Grillby, the other general shopkeepers obviously excluding sans Acrobat - Mettaton Other characters that were not listed are just not on my radar right now, so just imagine them as backstage workers or as in-between acts (clowns and freaks) ----------------------------------------------------- This au does have some ships set, however I do not mind if anyone decides to eventually toss one of my sillies into the vast shipping pool FoolsTale ships include - Sans x Grillby and Alphys x Undyne ----------------------------------------------------- Also as a side note, none of the cast of FoolsTale is so far aware of the multiverse, however this does not mean a particular little juggler will remain unaware forever✨
