Tell us about a good tv show/movie you’ve seen recently!

we've been watching The Owl House with our little alter recently and it's amazing! The animation is done really well, the story is super fun and interesting, and there's actual lgbtq+ representation. Like, no queerbaiting, these characters are just gay, there's no big "i love you please kiss me" reveal in a season finale or anything it's Just There. And OUGH the WORLD BUILDING. SO GOOD. Some episodes in the first season are kinda just there for fun and don't add too much to the story, but i wouldn't necessarily call it filler since it does help with showing us how the world works and how the characters interact and what their different interests and insecurities are. It's all worth it when the episodes start to get more serious, and I really don't have any complaints about the show at all!

A short summary that doesn't spoil anything serious: young girl named Luz gets teleported to a world full of witches and demons, where she meets a powerful witch who becomes her mentor, but unfortunately her mentor is kinda bad at her job. At least they have a dog, and her mentor is trying her best (kinda).
