Daily rage on the go.
tl;dr: Move bitch, get out the way.
It's been a while! Today I'll rage about something I rage about every single day I take a step outside of my house:
People who don't get how (foot) traffic works.
It starts off by just walking on the sidewalk on the way to public transport. Mostly the streets in my area are kind-of empty, but it definitly increases by how closer you get to the city center. Now, if the sidewalk is not a huge one where 5 people can walk next to each other, theres mostly two lines, each going forward on the right side. (seems familiar to car-traffic, doesn't it).. And then mostly, there's this ONE person who thinks they're above us all, who walks on the left side. And they don't think about moving either! Of course, if you almost run into them, it's definitly your fault too.
Next up, the trainstation. The train I take always departs one or two minutes after the one in the other direction arrives. Which means, everytime I walk to the train there's MASSES of people going into the direction I come from. MASSES. A minimally five meter broad "hallway" + stairs. MASSES OF PEOPLE just streaming.. and then I'm the only one going the other direction. But they can't move, so I could just pass them, no, I have to run in snake-lines and stop walking, because apparently, four and a half meters aren't enough for the others, and they don't even realize that if I move to the side I would run into another person.
So I take the train. Nothing special there. But try getting out of the train if people step in the second the doors opens. WHAT KIND OF LOGIC IS THIS. "Oh, the train is filled, and they actually want to step out which would make it half empty, I'll just stand in front of the door and be pissed that I can't step on first." ? Sure. SURE. Cuz if you put one more drop into a fullasfuck glass of water it definitly WON'T VOMIT WATER.
So there's that, next up is stairs, down. Hah, up down.. I walk fast. I don't care how slow you want to walk. I don't have ten minutes at a trainstation if I could also just use two. So, the people of course ALL walk slow. All next to each other. Again, I gotta pull out my snake-moves. I know you don't have eyes on the back of your head, but if you see somebody walking the same pace as you, would it really hurt you to walk behind them? Why can't there be a fast lane?
And then of course, the escalator. It's really not that hard people, here again, there's a simple left-right rule. Walk left, stand right. WHY DO YOU HAVE TO STAND LEFT. And why the fuck can't you back the fuck off when you notice there's 10 people standing behind you?! "Well my metro isn't here yet, I don't care if yours is." ? WHY THANK YOU, now I have to wait for five minutes because you couldn't move your fat ass!
And then busses. More specificly the stepping out part again. People just seem to think that as soon as their feet hit solid ground again, they can stand still there. Didn't you fucking see the hords of people who wanted to step out after you? Oh that's okay, just stand there, in the middle of the entrance of the door. Oh, and now you're pissed because my shoulder hit you while i was trying to get past you?
Why, fuck you all then. Just fucking learn how to behave in public and dont be an egoistic self-centered ass.
That's all.
