OSM에서, 차라리 한말글로 뜻매김되어 있으면 이해하기가 더 쉽겠으나 영어 기준으로 뜻매김이 되어 있다 보니 쉽게 이해되지 않고 자주 헷갈리는 표현 가운데, 사람이 주로 쓰는 길 가운데 몇 갈래를 정리해 보고자 합니다.(딱히 영국식 영어도 아니면서 묘하게 우리가 흔히 아는 미국식 영어도 아닌 영국식 영어가 섞인,… 영국 영어인 듯 영국 영어 아닌 영국 영어 같은……? ^^;;) 먼저, OSM에 좀 익숙해진 분께는 너무나 당연한 일이겠지만, OSM에서 쓰는 낱말은 정확히 우리 일상 낱말 뜻과는 같지 않다는 것입니다. 그 가운데 하나가 바로 OSM에서 경로를 뜻하는 ‘highway’인데, 우리가 아는 미국식 영어에서 ‘highway’는 ‘고속도로’를 뜻하지만 OSM에서는 그냥 ‘경로’를 다 일컫는…
