merry christmas :333 (from me and the belchers)
mama linda absolutely buys you and the kids ornaments each year. she will also make some with you for the restaurant's tree and proudly mentions the handmade ornaments to each customer (whether or not they particularly care)
if it snows, you and the other kids love going outside and playing in it. louise cons you guys into a snowman building contest and is only slightly mad when everyone agrees yours is the best
also sledding!! if youre too scared, louise will ride down the hill with you. after that, she's pushing you every time after that
gene's favorite christmas activity is carolling. he behaves for the first few houses, but he pulls his little keyboard out and starts playing it while you all sing. it makes you laugh so hard that you have to go home
papa bob is so obsessed with the holidays. on christmas eve, while mama linda is reading stories and youre all listening to christmas songs, he sets up a hot chocolate bar. theres marshmellows thats different flavors and colors and shapes. theres extra chocolate pieces. peppermint. cinnamon. if its able to go in hot chocolate, hes got it put out.
and his hot chocolate is so good!! he only makes it around christmas time, so you look forward to it all year :3
you know the tradition where you get to open a gift early? i like to imagine you and the kids have gotten together and made something for mama and papa. it eventually becomes a tradition in the family that you do every year
bob is definitely one of those dads who are just as surprised as you are on christmas day. he is a last minute shopper for sure, but the gifts that he does get you are super personalized and perfect
in fact, that monkey plushie you always carried around that went missing a few weeks back? papa bob has taken it to get professionally cleaned and restuffed. he even had your name embroidered on one of the paws :3
papa bob also lets you help him cook!! he needs his little helper(s) in the kitchen. with you and the kids around, bob doesnt have to let the dishes soak because you've all licked the bowls clean.
for supper, uncle teddy even comes over and he's got lots of gifts for everyone. way more than he should have gotten, but papa and mama can't stay mad because all their kiddos are happy.
uncle teddy loves to carry you around the apartment when you get sleepy while waiting on supper.
but thats only after youve all ran around chasing each other and making a mess with all the new toys.
you, tina, louise, and gene draw straws to see who gets to pick the christmas movie. no matter who wins, you end up enjoyjng it anyways.
the movie is barely two minutes in and youve already fallen asleep with your monkey and paci. tina, being the bestest big sister ever, shares her blanket with you and lets you lay your head on her shoulder.
papa bob finds you all sleeping peacefully on the couch, and mama linda insists on getting a picture. (she definitely doesnt create a card with it that says 'happy new years from the belchers')
papa bob carries you to bed and tucks you in, and if you wake up, he'll stay with you until you fall back asleep.
