Persephone sat at the bar in the mortal club, watching as the humans interacted with each other. The drunken dancing, the daring pick ups, the disappointing rejections. It was all rather fascinating. She had no drink of her own as she watched, she had already caught many of the mortal men staring but so far none had been bold enough to approach her. Or perhaps they assumed she was simply waiting for someone else. After all, even as a goddess she was no physically imposing presence at only 5′1″. 

She had almost given up that anything interesting could happen tonight when a shadow cast across the bar told her that someone had walked up beside her. A slight and coy smirk turned one corner of her mouth up but she pretended not to notice the man.

I honestly wouldn’t put it passed them??? THey probably would steal pants from Gill or something. 

And he probably would like the pants even though he’d wonder if they were real leather or not.
