She’s not going to take another jab like she typically would, noticing that he doesn’t have a comeback for her this time. She doesn’t appear aware (or is it willing to acknowledge?) that he has come to care for her. There’s been a wall up between them for ages now and she has no intention on taking it down any time soon, if ever.
Isabelle doesn’t move or even react when he pats her shoulder. He’s gone and she suddenly realizes the tension that had taken up in her shoulders. A deep breath before her focus moves to Chicago. Eyes close and there’s a wisp of smoke before she opens them again and finds herself standing in the city. “Let’s get to it then…”
Over the next few days Hades kept a close watch on his daughter. It was not an easy task though it seemed one. He needed her to locate him, locate him and take the item. It would bring him the edge he needed. He had kept it a secret from everyone, even his wife. And while he was sure that she was growing suspicious he could not fill her in, not yet.
Day after day he kept his eyes on the ring that matched hers, waiting to hear from her. Weather that be a tale of success, failure or a request from help. But no such message came. He had just made up his mind to go back to the surface and investigate when he heard from her.

Isabelle grins as he puts on the movie and sits back down beside her. She automatically leans into him, her drink in her hand as she sips on it every so often. She enjoyed these times with her brother. He had warmed up to her quite nicely when they first met and it didn’t take long for them to really act like siblings.
“Thanks Alley Kat…”
He had not expected to become so connected to the young daughter of his father, that his mother had taken under her wing. His mother was in the business of cleaning up his father’s messes. And this was proof. Yet he had instantly taken to the young demigoddess. Pulling her closer he watched the movie, the hint of a smile on his lips.
“Anytime, Hell’s Bells.”

It wasn’t something Isabelle actively thought about, having children. That was very low on her totem pole of priorities. Sometimes she thought it might be nice to settle down some day, but the odds of that were very low to begin with. Not just because of who’s daughter she was, but because she naturally did not have a peaceful soul. Isabelle was difficult to keep content or relaxed for very long. She needed things to do. And not of the mundane sort.
“Okay, fine, we can watch Tangled,” She grins.
“Tangled, alright.” He put in the children’s movie and sat back down beside his sister. Putting an arm around her shoulder he sipped his own drink. Part of him felt guilty for not spending more time with her outside of the times she was upset, but it was true that he tended to get busy. It was tedious and long work but someone needed to do it. And when his mother was away, he had even more responsibility.
Really missing using/doing things on @queenxofxthexashes but it’s a single-ship blog with a friend who is rarely on and I feel like people never wanna do platonic threads...

It was a beautiful afternoon like so many before it, Persephone was by a spring talking and playing with some Naiads. The sun reflected off the water, making sunspots dance in her eyes. That was when she saw something on the edge of the forest that captured her full attention: the most beautiful flower she had seen.
With a glance back at the water spirits who could not follow she walked towards it, enchanted by its beauty. Slowly she knelt down by it and tried to pluck it from the earth.
Hades smiled and kissed her again.
This time she let herself get totally lost in the kiss. She melted into his embrace as though she were always meant to be there. And even in the midst of the Underworld she felt safe and warm.
He leaned his forehead against hers. “My heart is beating so fast….”he whispered.
She placed her hands on his chest, feeling his heart racing through her fingertips. “So is mine” She took his hand gently and placed it over her own heart.
Thinking of using Disc/Disk servers to do some more like one liner back and forth. But idk if people would be interested. Or have any advice on it since I’m not really familiar. Let me know if it’s something y’all would be down for 💖💖

He kissed her gently, wrapping his arm around her waist as he held her close. He felt like his heart was about to burst, this was happiness. Something he has known very little of.
She felt like her heart was going to beat out of her chest, it’s rapid pace made her head spin. However, it was a feeling she wouldn’t have traded for anything. Very slowly she lifted her lips from his, eyes opening again. “Hades..”
He pulled back just a bit, still holding her close. “Yes?”
“I think I’d like to stay a while.” She hadn’t made up her mind completely, but she wasn’t ready to give up on this feeling yet.
