They stood on the edge, stared either at the drop, or at the safety offered on the other side. Behind them the sounds of pursuit. Of separation. The end of the adventure, happy ending denied, this whole, crazy night a question left unanswered.
Jim felt Al's gaze on him, and he turned. Their eyes met, and the moment became a lightning storm of clashing possibilities and mutual desire.
"Do you trust me?" they asked simultaneously.

This abandoned Zelda story is post Twilight Princess.
It was eventually going to include zombies, but ended up mostly being about Link's paralyzing social anxiety. The zombies were a combination of re-dead and those possessed castle guards from Link to the Past, and they were controlled by Agatha because she creeps me out. Or maybe Agatha is possessed too and functions as a kind of queen bee (she'd like that). Who knows? There was going to be some kind of gross hive mind up in her tree.
But, like I said, everything so far (10,000 words) is just about Link being mopey with the rare occurrence of Zelda bossing him around and Midna's voice narrating everything in his head.
I don't know what to do with it, because I cover a lot of the same ground I cover in other stuff and I really have no desire to complete it. Hmmmm.

I couldn't then, but I found my tablet AND my tablet pen in a box and I remembered how sad I was I couldn't contribute then, so I'm making up for it now.

I know you've been having a bad couple of days, so I decided to go ahead and show pictures of your present instead of waiting for you to unbox it. I CAN'T JUST SIT AROUND AND WAIT....
So, this is a plushie I made of Blu's character, Herz Hessian. He's not quite as pretty as I hoped but he's still really cute. ;A; But I put all of his scars on him and gave him a hoodie and sweatpants. He even has his rope burn scars... I might make him a scarf, but this is kind of his home loungewear or something.
Anyway, these are all like.... size comparisons with various plushies of mine. And my cat. And my Wolf!Bennett plushie. He's just going to live on my bed until he goes off to live with Blu. 8>
