Just reread Blackbird for the millionth time (I think about this fic all of the time, and I've basically built onto the story since the pandemic-induced maladaptive daydream took over my ability to concentrate); anyways, I love love love love the way you characterized this bitter little twink bot! I feel as though so much consideration has gone into how you portray Starscream in ALL of your fics. There are few writers,imo, who make him out to be so incredibly one-dimensional with only two character traits to define him. But you do the exact opposite and completely dive headfirst in trying to make the reiteration of him your own. (This can be said for most of your characterizations of characters, but I feel like it really shines through with Starscream). Love you, and I hope you had a great day and an even better tomorrow! <3

thank you so much bro. I know he doesn't get the spotlight as much as others since he hasn't had a longform fic dedicated to him *since* Blackbird(that is absolutely set to change though) When I started watching transformers a little over a decade ago, I fell in love with this bastard first and he's had me in a vice grip ever since then. The canon writer's inability to keep his characterization consistent has unintentionally created an *extremely* dynamic and believable character, the likes of which I haven't really encountered in any other media. I can very much see why fanfic authors just lean into a handful of traits with him, he's simply too much to handle otherwise in most cases. I personally try to lean into him being to complicated to write believably 100% of the time, and while that absolutely presents it's own problems, I feel like I kinda owe it to him. Dude bought me a one-way ticket to robot fucker hell and flew me there himself and I *love it here*
