Chapter 4 Mr Cool Calm and Collected

Honestly, a rather uneventful month. But then again, you’ve found yourself unable to get Keiji off your mind. All your crushes in the past have felt like a bang, a sudden moment where you realized your feelings had changed. It wasn’t all too different with your feelings for Akaashi, maybe not different from other crushes at all. You suppose maybe the only difference was him. He treated you like a precious item. As if you were delicate. He had this ever perceptiveness to him it seemd. He could tell how you felt in an instant, if anything was off about you he would stop everything to make sure you were okay. He never let you leave his side until you were smiling and gleeful again.
This month you’ve felt your heart tugged in every direction possible. Your mind switching back and fourth from Kuroo and Akaashi. The difference was it seemed Akaashi actually liked you? Well.. maybe. You sigh to yourself as you leave your evening class to head home.

Smiling to yourself you quickly answer your phone
“Hey Y/N”
“Hey Keiji? Why the sudden call? Not that I’m complaining” you smile to yourself like a fool at the sound of his voice
“Since we just turned in the second major due date for our project I was wondering if you uh” a pause, for the first time you’ve heard him sound uneasy. A rare thing from him calm and collected exterior. “Would you like to get dinner to celebrate? We both really worked hard together on this and with midterms starting in two weeks we’ll probably be yaknow busy” he begins to ramble. ABsolutely adorable.
“Of course Keiji, that’d be great.”
“Great” a tone of relief comes through the line “I’ll pick you up in an hour”
With newfound energy you scurry home and get dressed. Picking an outfit took longer than you’d like to admit. Not wanting too look too dressedup, but wanting to impress him at the same time. You finish getting ready and a mere moment later you here a courteous knock on the door.
Opening it to see Pretty Boy Akaashi, the moment your eyes meet he becomes flustered. Is that a blush on Mr. Cool Calm adn Collected?
“Hey, Keiji” you say with a coy smile, looks like you’ve managed to impress
“Hey Y/N, you look great” he smiles gently regaining his cool.
“Shall we?” you ask

Akaashi took you to a small but nice italian-style restaurant near campus. The entire time the conversation never stopped. It felt like sparks were flying, about to ignite the air the whole time. You couldn’t help but wonder if he felt the same way? You couldn’t help but wish this was a date the entire time.
After the meal you two split the home and Akaashi took you home. He insisted on walking you to your door, you had no plans to complain about this.
“Thanks for taking me out Keiji, I had a great time” you smile up at him in front of your door.
“Anyitme beautiful-” Akaashi’s face turned scarlet the moment he realized what he said, he did his best to play it off with his cool and calm smile however. Becoming flustered yourself you give a soft chuckle “goodnight Akaashi” and your body acting on it’s own you went to give a kiss goodbye but realized at the last moment and quickly turned it to a peck on the cheek. Now scarlet adorning both of your cheeks. You quickly scurry inside before Akaashi can react.
As if on cue when the door closes behind you your phone lights up with a message from Kuroo
“Baby girl lets have some fun tonight before midtemrs start”
And for the first time, you don’t respond to Kuroo. Heading straight to your room you bury your face in your pillow with embarrassment, You almost kissed Akaahi Keiji! Regaining some composure you finally find the ability to fall asleep.
For once you actually looked forward to midterms to help you avoid both Kuroo and Akaashi.

Of the troubled past

You make your way into the antechamber.
As you step inside, the door closes behind you, and you are shrouded in darkness.
This room is completely empty. the sounds of the swamps spill out into this place, even yet.
And then, you begin to see.
Almost like a Major Image, playing out in front of you…

Shimmering light appears in the room, as a young woman takes shape.
Shrouded in black garments, she swears that she has come before you on her own valtion and begs for the power to see the future, so that she can elude her pursuer and avoid any terrible fate that might await her.
As the terror of the unknown to come echoes around you, a blink later and she turns to a small child.
In the dead of night, a stranger crept into her room while her parents were away and absconded with her into the wilds. There, she grew up as a prisoner in a remote cabin, having lost her childhood to malevolent captors who viewed her as nothing more than a laborer.
One day, after just reaching adulthood, the young woman took a blade to her captors and escaped the cabin, and made it to the safety of a city far from the terrors of the wild. However, the damage had tragically already been done, and tragedy consumed the maiden.
She is filled with a desire to share her tragedy with children, especially good children enjoying a wonderful childhood that she was never afforded.
She began to turn the blade that had been her freedom to take the freedom from the children of the city. This was soon not enough tragedy and the blade began taking their lives.
One by one, the maiden methodically murdered one child after the next for months, until the local law enforcement finally caught wind. The dread of her fugitive mind was overwhelming, as she tried everything to avoid hanging at the law man's hand.
This terror consumed her and she fled into the woods, entering a small Hut and begging for the abilities to always be one step ahead of The Hangman's noose. With the tones of tragedy and fear echoing around you, the bubbling pot was filled with the maiden shrieks as she is turned into a savoring Brew.
The horrid presence that stands within this room slurps down the birth of this entity and creates a hag; the ability to grant the future, but in that future the hag saw her own death and now exists in an eternal mourning veil with the billing form of theater curtains, forever foreshadowing the tragedy of her own life and foretold death.

And as the story plays out in front of you, the story of the maiden, it eventually begins to shimmer and fade away.

Of a troubled present

You make your way into the room, the door ceremoniously closes behind you, and you are shrouded in shadow.
As you acclimate to the sounds of the swamp once again, an image begins to unfurl in front of you.
As a shimmering light fills the room and suddenly there's yet another echo in the room with you.

This time, a middle-aged woman with a needle in her hand, begging and pleading to be a mother and have children of her own.
She swears that she is present there on her own volition, and wishes to have her anxiety assuaged and be allowed to reproduce to ensure her legacy.
In a flash, the woman is young and dreaming of the day when she will be able to have children with the man of her dreams.
She's soon married, but the marriage produces no children despite every best effort.
The sorrow the couple feels takes the husband's life, and leaves the Widow distraught and filled with immeasurable Envy for the parents who have children of their own.
Every day, she feels her broken line in the loss of legacy that feels inevitable. This envy leads the would-be mother to a terrible hobby that few could ever imagine.
Under the shroud of darkness, woman would steal the sleeping offspring of parents deemed ungrateful and butcher them, stitching them into children of her own. Soon, her cottage was filled with the perfect quiet children she desperately craved.
Eventually it was not enough.
The mother rushes into the darkest wood and enters a small Hut. With a desperate pleading to have her anxiety assuaged and be granted the true motherhood she overwhelmingly craved, she too is consumed by a boiling cauldron and drank by the disembodied presence you feel in this room with you.
With a horrid rebirth, the newly formed hag, toadlike in visage, finally birthed new life in her own image as you see plainly before you - the echoes of Bavlorna Blightstraw in her Lornlings.

Of the troubled future

You make your way into the next antichamber antechamber.
The door closes behind you, and you're shrouded in darkness.
Sounds of the swamp fill your ears, and eventually, you begin to see yet another story play out in front of you.

A sudden shimmering light appears in the room, and you hear the voice of an old woman, begging and pleading for a chance at life again, filled with regret.
As the voice continues to plead, the shimmering light forms into the shape of an old crone with a tattered shawl over her head, faint and translucent, merely an echo that mirrors the echoing voice that sounds so faint and distant yet ever present around you.
She tells you that she's there on her own valtion and that she needs her youth back. a chance to do everything over again.
The form shifts and changes to a younger woman who felt the pressures of her family and Society, to marry and have children of her own, despite it being the last thing she ever wanted for herself.
Her bitterness spills over and dictates every interaction with her children, spitting Venom with every word and never giving an ounce of motherly love.
In the blink of an eye, her children are grown and have become just as bitter and spiteful as the old crone. Her children, now having children of their own, provide the same cruel parenting that she had exhibited.
These grandchildren are even nastier and the crone is filled with venomous hatred for them, even more so than the now grown children. This hatred, regret and bitterness leads to one terrible night, where all the grandchildren are staying with their grandmother.
The Crone serves them their dinner but it is filled with the poison that has come to define her entire being.
After the bodies of the poisoned grandchildren have been disposed of, the crone rushes through the forest and enters a small hut.
In her begging and pleading, with regret of letting her life go by living a life she never wanted, she was suddenly within a bubbling cauldron. shrieking, she got turned to sludge and consumed by the disembodied presence that fills this room with you.
The brew disappears and you witness the birth of the hag that's more toy than person, a baby's bonnet upon her head
She would have her youth back.
Forever.

You have traveled three hours to travel to this place.
Three hours beneath the hot sun. Three hours without water... Three hours, you've been pelted by sandstorms.
You're all distracted, uncomfortable, sunburned, dehydrated...
And yet Kremy, you are on high alert.
Whether it's the constant lights that you see off on the horizon, the True Sight you've been gifted, or something else innate to you, you feel like you see more than you expect to.
And as you look ahead of you, you see that the two obelisks rise straight towards the sky, the path between them snakes towards a temple, but also towards you.
And the sand snakes too.
About 5 minute walk away from you, the sand is moving unnaturally.
You look behind you, to the left, to the right... the sand seems to be fine.
You see a sandstorm pick up off towards the west and you note the way the sand moves during that, a natural phenomenon, and it's not the same.
This is an undulation beneath the surface of the sand, almost as if there is something at the start of the pathway, guarding it.
Protecting it.
(When Kremy tells the rest of the Krew about the undulations, Frost tries to look for what he describes; 15)
With Kremy's direction of where to look for, you squint your eyes and shield them from the rays of the sun.
It takes a moment for you to stop seeing the image of the shifting mirage and you’re finally able to detect the undulating movement of the sand.
(When Frost confirms Kremy's observation, Torbek grabs onto Gideon's shoulder to stabilise himself - Mutagen consumed - Rapidity, -3hp)
Rapidity - Your speed increases by 10 feet. However, you have disadvantage on Intelligence checks
You watch as the Witchlight in Torbeks vials begins to bubble and pop as his body begins to change. You notice that his legs elongate just a little bit, he's quite a bit taller, and you see a flash of confusion on his face for a moment.
The effort that your body is going through to make it change physically is making you a bit dizzy, you feel disoriented, but you still feel like yourself.
(Torbek now can keep up much better with walking with the rest. When asked if he meant to do that he answers that yes, he has some degree of control over it now. Kremy praises him for doing a good job)
(Krew discusess wherever the undulations are dangerous, with majority deciding it may not be anything harmful and decide to not walk around it as it would take much more time)
You rally each other. You bolter your energies and together, as a unit, as you do everything, you decide to tackle this next obstacle on your path.
You move forward, relentlessly, in the heat of the sun.
15 minutes passess and you can see, as you get closer, it is not a small bit of sand moving like you originally thought. This is a huge patch of sand.
You're not quite familiar with things like quicksand but, you imagine that this is what it could look like, though you see no moisture.
The way it moves almost looks like water, as it rolls, and undulates, and tumbles.
You get closer, you're about 15 feet from it now. Do you continue?
(As they discus wherever it's a good idea to get closer, Gricko amplifies his voice, saying that if what is hiding beneath the sand is a monstrosity he wants it to know they want to help and that he's a friend to all monstrosities)
The sand begins to turn and roil more violently.
It begins to expand, larger, and larger, and larger, and in the very center you can see something almost looking like a sand whirlwind, as a huge hole begins to open up.
And out of it comes out what looks to be a gigantic cobra. But no, no one, two- three.
And as you see its body propel itself forward out of this gigantic den, or burrow, you realize that it is a single cobra.
But with three heads.

(Krew) vs [Runespoor]
.
Turn 1
.
You look out as this creature submerges from subterranean snake's den.
It rears back all three of its cobra heads back and hisses loudly at you, but you notice - the sand is still burbling, the sand is still rolling.
There is still something beneath the sand itself.
(Frost) - He immediately steps forward and while pleading the creature to let them pass in peace he readies a spell in case it doesn't listen to him (Hold Action: Cast Chromatic Orb)
(Gideon) - He activates his flame form and threatens it that they'll attack it if it moves forward, then attacks it (Attack, hits; Attack, hits -23 damage in total, plus -6 fire damage)
You rush forward through the sand and you slam into it, punching directly beneath its jaw. You watch as the first head snaps back, as you go in with the next hit to the second head, which also snaps back. All of the heads turn towards you.
[Runespoor] - The snake attacks the only person close enough, Gideon, trying to bite him (miss, miss, hits
(Gideon) Reaction - seeing the head coming towards him, he activates the Gauge I of his manacles, swinging his chains towards it, trying to redirect it towards one of its other heads (success, hits -)
(Frost) Reaction - seeing the snake behaving in threatening way he sends a chromatic orb towards it (Chromatic Orb, hits -17 cold damage)
-- It seems to do a significant amount of damage. All of the heads rear back and hiss out at you as they are writhing and moving in a very predatory manner. Their attention however seems to be still on Gideon, with him being the closest to it.
You watch as its middle head rears back and begins to make a strange hissing-trilling sound in the back of its throat. You can see this spot on its neck that is vibrating.
You begin to hear buzzing. No, not buzzing.
Clicking.
The sound of clicking mandibles.
As you see six swarms of scarabs spill up out of the undulating sand and begin to move all around you.
6x[Scarab Swarm]'s join the fight! (1x on each but 2x on Frost due his attack)
They all attack (Frost - miss, hits -3 damage, con save fail; Gricko - hits -2 damage, con save pass; Torbek hits -1 damage, con save pass; Kremy - miss; Gideon - hits -4 damage, con save fail)
(Frost) & (Gideon) - You take bites from all of these swarming scarabs, they're all around you. The poison begins to seep into your flesh. You hear the buzzing louden but it's the chittering of their mandibles, the sensation of them crawling all around you... (disadvantage on all attack rolls)
(Kremy) - Seeing the scarabs appear he yells in annoyance as shadows around slither towards him and cover him, turning him into a silhouette-looking figure as ominous jazz starts to play. Neon lights of glyphs appearing on him illuminate his form, as he swirls his cane around (Form of Dread; 2x Eldritch Blast at the snake - miss, hits -13 force damage)
The eldritch magic sears into its skin and you see a bit of neon flash against its scales for a second, before it turns to smoke in the heat. The snake lets out a loud hiss at you and all of the scarabs begin to buzz and vibrate, as if incensed by its anger.
(Gricko) - He tries to take a closer look, wondering if he've ever seen or heard about such creature (survival/nature check - 17)
It's very clearly a monstrosity. You can see, taking a peek into its den, that it's filled with bones. With its position in the middle of the path leading to the temple it's easy to tell it's some sort of guardian and it is not willing to let you pass.
-As he apologises that, considering it won't let them pass, it will have to die. He yells out as he calls forth his Froghemoth; he moves slightly closer to it has it lashing out at the snake (Star Form; attack, hits -9 radiant damage)
-Then it lashes out with its tentacles (Guiding Bolts lvl3, hits -21 radiant damage, next attack on snake with advantage)
It seems to do a significant amount of damage, as it rears back and hisses. You see its throat begin to constrict, almost as if it's preparing to spit.
(Torbek) - As he moves towards the snake, fueled by Witchlight, he tries to elongate his arms and transform his fingernails into blades (bonus action - Magenta Toxin - +d6 to all his attacks, -1 damage to him)
-He then (attack, hits; attack, hits -24 damage total, of which -5 is poison)
You do a significant amount of damage to these cobras. They are lashing this way and that, they are hissing in pain. But they are unrelenting, guardians of this temple as they are, and you continue to hear this strange thrumming sound coming from the insides of their throat, as they prepare for something.
(Hootsie) - she attacks the swarm, but can't see it very well due sun and her large sunglasses (attack, miss; attack, miss)

Turn 2
.
(Frost) - He tries to reach into the minds of the cobra and fill them confusion, pain, fear and racking sounds (Dissonant Whispers, -3 sorcerer points for Heightened Spell metamagic - miss)
The sound the snake has been making amplifies. All three mouths open up and spit acid into the air, surrounding Krew in 16ft sphere (dex save - Gideon - 17, Torbek - 16, Kremy - 21 14, Frost - 20 10, Gricko - 23 10; pass - most likely 15)
-- (Kremy), (Frost) & (Gricko) - As the acid hits you, you feel your skin popping and melting. Unless you do something to remove it, it will continue to do so (-20 acid damage each + future damage at the end of their turn, Torbek & Gideon -10 acid damage))
(Gideon) - He clasps his manacles, gathering his fire between them and shoots out a ray of fire towards the snake and the swarm next to it (Burning Hands, hits -5 fire damage to both)
As the swarm is blasted, it looks like it's barely hanging on
-He takes a deep breath, flexes down and tries to punch it (Action Surge - attack, miss; attack, miss; attack, hits -11 fire damage)
-He then activates Gear II, making his chains rattle, then tries to lash them around the snake (attack, hits -7 fire damage)
The manacles lash out, doing a significant amount of damage. But as he tries to link the chains around the three headed cobra it is writhing, jolting from one side to the net, making them unable to find purchase on it.
[Runespoor] - It looks down at Gideon, as all three heads attempt to bite him (attack, hits; attack, miss; attack, hit; -15 piercing damage total)
You feel the fangs pump poison into your body as they sink deeper into your flesh (dex save fail, -8 poison damage)
6x[Scarab Swarm] - All of the scarabs begin to buzz (Gideon, miss, hits?; Torbek, hits -3 piercing damage; Frost, hits, hits -3 piercing damage; Gricko, miss; Kremy, hits -4 piercing damage; Frost & Gideon are no longer disadvantaged)
(Kremy) - Fed up with the snakes and the bugs he yells "You're in my world now!", as he pulls out a dice and starts to swirl it around with magic, in colors of pink, purple and green, between his hands and then he tosses them beneath the snake, scattering it into the sand.
All of sudden shadows start to grow and pulse. From the place where Kremy tossed the dice they abruptly explode into 20ft radius dome.
As you look around you see you're almost knee deep in a swamp. It's nearly pitch black and white. You hear the swamp creatures - the snarl of an alligator, the call of a whipper, faint ominous jazz far away. Occasional moan or growl or other unsettling sounds of undead. A creature sloshing through the water.
All you can see is you and the swamp, you are now completely alone (reflavoured Hunger of Hadar)
(Hunger of Hadar) -
You open a gateway to the dark between the stars, a region infested with unknown horrors. A 20-foot-radius sphere of blackness and bitter cold appears, centered on a point within range and lasting for the duration. This void is filled with a cacophony of soft whispers and slurping noises that can be heard up to 30 feet away. No light, magical or otherwise, can illuminate the area, and creatures fully within the area are blinded.
The void creates a warp in the fabric of space, and the area is difficult terrain. Any creature that starts its turn in the area takes 2d6 cold damage. Any creature that ends its turn in the area must succeed on a Dexterity saving throw or take 2d6 acid damage as milky, otherworldly tentacles rub against it.
-As it happens he yells for others to run, then moves out of the sphere (-4 acid damage)
(Gricko) - (-9 cold damage) He, in panic, runs in a random direction, unknowingly moving closer to the snake (Scattered Dice)
-He then plays on his ocarina (Healing Word; Healing Touch) (-9 cold damage, -4 acid damage)
The whippoorwill sits at the branch above you, then flutters down through you. As it does so, you can see it has two beaks and three eyes on each side.
(Torbek) - (-8 cold damage) In his infinite stupidity, but also considering that he is bugbear and he still has a hunter instinct, he tries to swipe where he thinks the snake is (attack, miss; attack, miss; attack, miss)
-He then, heeding Mr Kremy's advice, tries to move away from it (Scattered Dice)
You are able to escape the darkness and are immediately hit by the sunlight

Turn 3
.
(Frost) - (-9 cold damage) He closes his eyes, aware that based on what Kremy yelled it's all part of the spell he cast, then reaches out to find Kremy's mind and shift reality to be able to reach him (Misty Step)
-He whips himself out of the acid he was covered in
Those of you still inside this sphere, all you hear and see is swam. This is your reality. But this creature is still there.
(Gideon) - (-really low amount of damage) Guesstimating where the snake is, he tries to skirt around it to get out of the swamp
You get out, however, you are now in the roiling sands. You immediately feel yourself begin to submerge beneath the surface. You are about waist deep in sand now.
-Angered by it, he tries to punch it (attack, miss; attack, hits -12 damage; Second Wind - +1d10+5hp)
[Runespoor] - (-4 cold damage) It feels pain from the cold, and, with it being a snake and having blindsight, the inability to see its prey doesn't stop it from fiding it, as it surges forward ((Gricko) - miss, hits -9 damage; (Gideon) - hits -7 damage) (-5 acid damage)
Both of you feel the fangs dig into your flesh, but its poison seems to affect you less after experiencing it before (dex save pass)
6x[Scarab Swarm] - (-6 cold damage)
[Scarab Swarm1] - The scarabs let out agitated clicking and insectoid shrieks, as they fall and shrivel up on the ground. The swarm closest to the snake is whipped out, while the rest of them are halved
(Kremy) - (-1 acid damage) He tries to get a sense where the snake is, and then tries to blast it (2xEldritch Blast - miss; miss)
(Gricko) - (-8 cold damage) Running in panic, he bumps into the snake and doing so he tumbles out of the swamp - straight into the roiling sands
You are neck-deep in the sand.
-With his hands awkwardly sticking out of the sand he tries to wipe all of the acid he can reach
You move. You are covered in acid, you are heavily wounded. You are disoriented, and the sound of the buzzing is distracting, as you tumble down into the undulating sand. It seems that the sand is wiping away the acid from you, it begins to clump away and you feel the pain dissipate
(Torbek) - Still covered in Witchlight and seeing Gideon in need, he rushes towards the snake, swiping at it with his claws (attack, hits; attack, hits; attack, hits; -42 damage total)
Feeling the Witchlight course through his veins, his limb due to it long and gnarled, bending at weird angles, Torbek rushes to help Gideon. With three gashes, pouring as much magenta toxin into this creature as he can, he tries to shred this beast apart.
[Runespoor] - You watch as something like madness overcomes Torbek, and, for a second, you see his eyes flash. And these are no longer his eyes, as if something- someone is looking through them. But then you see him return, the bloodlust overcomes him, and he rips scale after scale, from tail to head. He wrenches his long, gnarled fingers around the necks of this thing and you hear snapping of the cartilage bone inside of it, as he rips it into pieces. He is covered in blood and viscera by the time he's done.

The buzzing is the only sound that's left.
But only for a moment, as, while Kremy's magic slowly fades, you can see the last remnants of the swarms fall, and shrivel, and die, in the heat of the sun.
You are left, now, alone. Standing... a 100ft from this temple.
You're bloodied. You're tired. You're exhausted.
You're hot, dehydrated.
Gideon, you are sinking into the sand very quickly. Gricko, you feel the sand begin to spill into your mouth. You both feel you don't have that much time left before you're fully submerged.
(Gideon yells out to Gricko, as he whips one of his chains towards him, then whips the other towards Hootsie, assuming she'll be able to pull them up)
These chains have been a part of you for as long as you can remember at this point. They are extensions of yourself and you're able to use them effortlessly, as you whip one around Gricko.
You are able to pull him towards you, as you feel the sand around you harden and stiffen. Now that this creature is dead, something about this sand is changing and if you're not quick there won't be an escape for you.
As you toss the other chain out, you just hope and pray that Hootsie catches it, that she's able to pull you up-
You hear the sound - not of claw, but of beak meeting the chain.
As Hootsie snaps down and uses the full force of her owlbear body - she may be a small owlbear, but she still is an owlbear - she is much stronger than she looks, and is effortlessly able to pull you away from the sand.
You watch as the sand you were stuck in begins to level out. The hole from which the snake came out fills in and, as wind blows for a second, if you haven't just gone through a fight here you would've never guessed there ever was anything amiss.

According to her, they should meet a guy named Ned (Or Nib. Or Neeve. Or-) He's an old miser that lives in a cave off in the forest somewhere, which is hard to find due constantly changing outlay of Tither. He've made a deal with Granny Nightshade because one day he showed up in one of those Faerie Circles. He've been doing some buisness in a town called Agway and apparently through nefarious deed with some person named Remy Garou he ruined lives of tones of people. He was runing some housing scheme that resulted in many deaths of women and children because of him. Once this Remy Garou threatened him to give him all his money he run off into the Feywild and drank water from one of the pools, which causes somone being overcome with an emotion and his emotion was guilt. He made a deal with Skabatha to make ammends to people he hurt, so now he lives in a cave filled with all gold he've made from deals with this Remy Garou guy that he spins into even more valuable magical artifacts. He has to do so until he runs out of gold so his cave is filled with valuable stuff and he can't leave it until he finishes. He's hunted by ghosts of people he hurt with his actions so he wears blindfold to not look at them.

Faerie Circles are all over Tither and were there loong before Granny Nightshade took over. Then, they've been used to teleport between other Faerie Circles on Material Plane. Each Faerie Circle leads to a different place. Some of them however have been corrupted by Granny Nightshade, twisted by her nature. They look exactly the same and you aren't able to tell which one's which until you stand inside of it. The uncorrupted ones are home to Campestries, with which you can bond through music of any sorts. You should be nice to them. To activate a Faerie Circles you have to walk inside of it, hoping it's the incorrupted one, and then, while holding a wand or stick you have to run in circle counterclockwise while saying three times "Widdeshins, and off we go!". Type of blood is somehow relevant to this proces. If done correctly, it will teleport to the Material Plane one that is connected to it. A Faerie Circle looks like a ring of mushrooms filled with no vegetation inside

Behind them there is a hidden gummy heart that stinks horribly but tastes delicious. They whisper ominous and disturbing things in hundreds of voices, even after being baked. A faint heartbeat is faintly audible from it. After being removed their seeds need to be burned, otherwise they'll turn into horrible abominations (homebrewed; ep.32) if not eaten quick enough, food made out from it can make your eyes scream (after closing them little teeth replace your eyelashes and they begin to let out horrid screams every time you open them) or run off (ep.33)
Pigtunia reported a frog man tried to free Sir Talivar from his cage and later on helped him with repairing the balloon and he and his neck didn't seem to be in any way damaged (ep.33)
The barn owl that party have seen is a one of forms of man that introduces himself as King of Hearts, an unnaturally beautiful and perfect archfey humanoid creature with a barn owl face mask covering upper half of his face, that claims to be one of the former rulers of Prismeer. He was supposedly cursed by the mother of three hags to be unable to enter the Castle where Zybilna is trapped. Supposedly, barn owl is a form of his familiar, as he is the moon to Zybilna's sun. He's able to cast spells and has a silver pocket watch that seems to be able to manipulate passage of time. (ep.34)
According to the King of Hearts, the Contraption on Torbek's back is not Prismeer-made but of somewhere deeper in the Feywild, probably by someone from the Twilight Court, and he claims to know who might be responsible for it. (ep.34)
King of Hearts never either confirmed nor denied that he's the Tight Pants Dude from their visions, nor wherever they are true, just gave them incredulous comments about them being ready to believe some dreams or visions over him. However, the state in which the unicorn is right now according to him seems to be perfectly aligning with the unicorn horn vision Kremy had. (ep.34)
The mirror in Bavlorna’s bathroom leads to the Hall of Mirrors in Witchlight Carnival and going by what they saw in it, Mr Witch and Mr Light just began to walk away from it in Material Plane (ep.37)
Jelly Worm is a giant worm-like 30ft long and 10ft wide in diameter creature with properties of a gelatinous cube/the ooze with its teeth rotating and covering the whole inside of its maw. It appears to be the reason why the well wasn't working and the acidity of the water (homebrewed, ep.37)
Despite them being in fights and dangerous situations numerous times after the Agdon Longscarf Confrontation, the Other haven't appeared since then. It would suggest that the adrenaline, stress and/or fighting aren't direct triggers to him emerging. They theorise it may be Agdon having actual blood in him unlike the Jelly Worm, but it can't be the case because literally in the last fight his whole hand was covered in blood after he shredded a pixie with it. Once Torbek is hovering above treeline, he's able to see the forest from below him that covers all Tither (ep.44)
When looking with True Sight, Kremy is able to see a lines on earth running towards some direction. He's able to see that the entire surface of Tither is a clock face, with the lines leading towards numbers. However, instead standard 12, there are 13 of them. As the clock hands move towards the 11th hour, the entire Tither seems to shift and rotate, just a little bit. Number 3 and 8 seem to almost glow with magic. When looking west, he can see green wings, almost translusent in being so ethereal. When hearing about "radiant scales", Campestrii start to sing a rhyme mentioning Jabberwock, looking horrified towards the sky. (ep.44)

With Bloodytoes - In exchange for bringing her Lornlings so that she can sate her murderous urges and be able to wet her cap with blood of her enemies, she offers knowledge she has about Bavlorna - she is allergic to running widdeshins, and if she sees somone do so she starts to snease uncontrolably and is unable to function. To show her gratitude for Gricko freeing her from Bavlorna and letting her live with bullywugs which she used to kill often, she states that if she had such urge she would smooch Gricko, but instead she will write letters to him, sending them by vultures, which according to her will be able to always find him (ep.42)
With Spiderlily - In exchange for helping the Krew to change back to normal, they offered to explain what the woodpiece they've found is (it's a doorstep, but they explain it as a magical artifact that casts spell Hold Portal when wedged under any door and it usually doesn't even require somatic component)
With Pixies - In exchange for Kremy cooking dinner for pixies ("a large pot of award-winning Carlfish stew"), Spiderlily promised to give them information about the uncorrupted Faerie Rings, Maypole would give them some information about Tither and Cowslip would give Gideon his fire back (according to her, a kiss from her was a necesary part of doing so; wherever it was true is irrelevant, considering the fact that he felt like he got more fire than when he lost it)

According to her, they should meet a guy named Ned (Or Nib. Or Neeve. Or-) He's an old miser that lives in a cave off in the forest somewhere, which is hard to find due constantly changing outlay of Tither. He've made a deal with Granny Nightshade because one day he showed up in one of those Faerie Circles. He've been doing some buisness in a town called Agway and apparently through nefarious deed with some person named Remy Garou he ruined lives of tones of people. He was runin some housing scheme that resulted in many deaths of women and children because of him. Once this Remy Garou threatened him to give him all his money he run off into the Feywild and drank water from one of the pools, which causes somone being overcome with an emotion and his emotion was guilt. He made a deal with Skabatha to make ammends to people he hurt, so now he lives in a cave filled with all gold he've made from deals with this Remy Garou guy that he spins into even more valuable magical artifacts. He has to do so until he runs out of gold so his cave is filled with valuable stuff and he an't leave it until he finishes. He's hunted by ghost of people he hurt with his actions so he wears blindfold to not look at them.
Info about Faerie Circles
Faerie Circles are all over Tither and were there loong before Granny Nightshade took over. Then, they've been used to teleport between other Faerie Circles on Material Plane. Each Faerie Circle leads to a different place. Some of them however have been corrupted by Granny Nightshade, twisted by her nature. They look exactly the same and you aren't able to tell which one's which until you stand inside of it. The uncorrupted ones are home to Campestries, with which you can bond through music of any sorts. You should be nice to them. To activate a Faerie Circles you have to walk inside of it, hoping it's the incorrupted one, and then, while holding a wand or stick you have to run in circle counterclockwise while saying three times "Widdeshins, and off we go!". Type of blood is somehow relevant to this proces. If done correctly, it will teleport to the Material Plane one that is connected to it. A Faerie Circle looks like a ring of mushrooms filled with lots of vegetation inside

Beezleberies are a type of a magical berry in shades of burning fire with juice sacks that need to be milked to get their juice. Behind them there is a hidden gummy heart that stinks horribly but tastes delicious. They whisper ominous and disturbing things in hundreds of voices, even after being baked. A faint heartbeat is faintly audible from it. After being removed their seeds need to be burned, otherwise they'll turn into horrible abominations (homebrewed; ep.32) if not eaten quick enough, food made out from it can make your eyes scream (after closing them little teeth replace your eyelashes and they begin to let out horrid screams every time you open them) or run off (ep.33)
Pigtunia reported a frog man tried to free Sir Talivar from his cage and later on helped him with repairing the balloon and he and his neck didn't seem to be in any way damaged (ep.33)
The barn owl that party have seen is a one of forms of man that introduces himself as King of Hearts, an unnaturally beautiful and perfect archfey humanoid creature with a barn owl face mask covering upper half of his face, that claims to be one of the former rulers of Prismeer. He was supposedly cursed by the mother of three hags to be unable to enter the Castle where Zybilna is trapped. Supposedly, barn owl is a form of his familiar, as he is the moon to Zybilna's sun. He's able to cast spells and has a silver pocket watch that seems to be able to manipulate passage of time. (ep.34)
According to the King of Hearts, the Contraption on Torbek's back is not Prismeer-made but of somewhere deeper in the Feywild, probably by someone from the Twilight Court, and he claims to know who might be responsible for it. (ep.34)
King of Hearts never either confirmed nor denied that he's the Tight Pants Dude from their visions, nor wherever they are true, just gave them incredulous comments about them being ready to believe some dreams or visions over him. However, the state in which the unicorn is right now according to him seems to be perfectly aligning with the unicorn horn vision Kremy had. (ep.34)
The mirror in Bavlorna’s bathroom leads to the Hall of Mirrors in Witchlight Carnival and going by what they saw in it, Mr Witch and Mr Light just began to walk away from it in Material Plane (ep.37)
Grickos tracking spell suddenly stopped working prematurely, meaning that Kremy's hat either was teleported over 1000 feet away or was taken to another plane of existence (ep.37)
Jelly Worm is a giant worm-like 30ft long and 10ft wide in diameter creature with properties of a gelatinous cube/the ooze with its teeth rotating and covering the whole inside of its maw. It appears to be the reason why the well wasn't working and the acidity of the water (homebrewed, ep.37)
Despite them being in fights and dangerous situations numerous times after the Agdon Longscarf Confrontation, the Other haven't appeared since then. It would suggest that the adrenaline, stress and/or fighting aren't direct triggers to him emerging. Once Torbek is hovering above treeline, he's able to see the forest from below him. There are many giant mushroom circles among other tall trees. In some of them there's visible movement while others seem to be completely empty. There are snaking rivers, mountains dotting the land, all the while a thick fog covers this entire place. The place where they are seems to be at the very edge of Tither, on its Northern side. Towards the middle there appears to be a lake with a small island in the very center. Farther north there is absolutely massive giant oaktree, stretchng hundereds feet up to the sky and towering over everything else. Almost halfway through Tither there's another tree that is much larger than even this one, but instead reaching towards the sky it has fallen to the side, completly surrounded by what looks like gardens and ramshackle buildings with lights illuminated even during the day. It is clear that this is the Loom Lurch you've been told about before. But this isn't simply a house, this is a city that have been built around this tree
When looking with True Sight, Kremy is able to see a lines on earth running towards some direction. When Twig makes him fly, he's able to see that the entire surface of Tither is a clock face, with the lines leading towards numbers. However, instead standard 12, there are 13 of them. As the clock hands move towards the 11th hour, the entire Tither seems to shift and rotate, just a little bit. Number 3 and 8 seem to almost glow with magic. When looking west, he can see green wings, almost translusent in being so ethereal. Four limbed, spindly body, it's incredibly long neck ending in a head with razor sharp teeth and gigantic bulbous eyes, that lets out a burst of what looks like fire, as it dives towards the ground. Screams and screetches are audible, the creature finding its prey. And then... silence. When hearing about "radiant scales", Campestrii start to sing a rhyme mentioning Jabberwock, looking horrified towards the sky.

She also orders asks them to not make deals with Skabatha, as they are her friends, not Skabathas (ep.42)
With Bloodytoes - In exchange for bringing her Lornlings so that she can sate her murderous urges and be able to wet her cap with blood of her enemies, she offers knowledge she has about Bavlorna - she is allergic to running widdeshins, and if she sees somone do so she starts to snease uncontrolably and is unable to function. To show her gratitude for Gricko freeing her from Bavlorna and letting her live with bullywugs which she used to kill often, she states that if she had such urge she would smooch Gricko, but instead she will write letters to him, sending them by vultures, which according to her will be able to always find him (ep.42)
With Spiderlily - In exchange for helping the Krew to change back to normal, they offered to explain what the woodpiece they've found is (it's a doorstep, but they explain it as a magical artifact that casts spell Hold Portal when wedged under any door and it usually doesn't even require somatic component)
With Pixies - In exchange for Kremy cooking dinner for pixies ("a large pot of award-winning Carlfish stew"), Spiderlily promised to give them information about the uncorrupted Faerie Rings, Maypole would give them some information about Tither and Cowslip would give Gideon his fire back (according to her, a kiss from her was a necesary part of doing so; wherever it was true is irrelevant, considering the fact that he felt like he got more fire than when he lost it)

According to her, they should meet a guy named Ned (Or Nib. Or Neeve. Or-) He's an old miser that lives in a cave off in the forest somewhere, which is hard to find due constantly changing outlay of Tither. He've made a deal with Granny Nightshade because one day he showed up in one of those Faerie Circles. He've been doing some buisness in a town called Agway and apparently through nefarious deed with some person named Remy Garou he ruined lives of tones of people. He was runin some housing scheme that resulted in many deaths of women and children because of him. Once this Remy Garou threatened him to give him all his money he run off into the Feywild and drank water from one of the pools, which causes somone being overcome with an emotion and his emotion was guilt. He made a deal with Skabatha to make ammends to people he hurt, so now he lives in a cave filled with all gold he've made from deals with this Remy Garou guy that he spins into even more valuable magical artifacts. He has to do so until he runs out of gold so his cave is filled with valuable stuff and he an't leave it until he finishes. He's hunted by ghost of people he hurt with his actions so he wears blindfold to not look at them.
Info about Faerie Circles
Faerie Circles are all over Tither and were there loong before Granny Nightshade took over. Then, they've been used to teleport between other Faerie Circles on Material Plane. Each Faerie Circle leads to a different place. Some of them however have been corrupted by Granny Nightshade, twisted by her nature. They look exactly the same and you aren't able to tell which one's which until you stand inside of it. The uncorrupted ones are home to Campestries, with which you can bond through music of any sorts. You should be nice to them. To activate a Faerie Circles you have to walk inside of it, hoping it's the incorrupted one, and then, while holding a wand or stick you have to run in circle counterclockwise while saying three times "Widdeshins, and off we go!". Type of blood is somehow relevant to this proces. If done correctly, it will teleport to the Material Plane one that is connected to it. A Faerie Circle looks like a ring of mushrooms filled with lots of vegetation inside

Behind them there is a hidden gummy heart that stinks horribly but tastes delicious. They whisper ominous and disturbing things in hundreds of voices, even after being baked. A faint heartbeat is faintly audible from it. After being removed their seeds need to be burned, otherwise they'll turn into horrible abominations (homebrewed; ep.32) if not eaten quick enough, food made out from it can make your eyes scream (after closing them little teeth replace your eyelashes and they begin to let out horrid screams every time you open them) or run off (ep.33)
Pigtunia reported a frog man tried to free Sir Talivar from his cage and later on helped him with repairing the balloon and he and his neck didn't seem to be in any way damaged (ep.33)
The barn owl that party have seen is a one of forms of man that introduces himself as King of Hearts, an unnaturally beautiful and perfect archfey humanoid creature with a barn owl face mask covering upper half of his face, that claims to be one of the former rulers of Prismeer. He was supposedly cursed by the mother of three hags to be unable to enter the Castle where Zybilna is trapped. Supposedly, barn owl is a form of his familiar, as he is the moon to Zybilna's sun. He's able to cast spells and has a silver pocket watch that seems to be able to manipulate passage of time. (ep.34)
According to the King of Hearts, the Contraption on Torbek's back is not Prismeer-made but of somewhere deeper in the Feywild, probably by someone from the Twilight Court, and he claims to know who might be responsible for it. (ep.34)
King of Hearts never either confirmed nor denied that he's the Tight Pants Dude from their visions, nor wherever they are true, just gave them incredulous comments about them being ready to believe some dreams or visions over him. However, the state in which the unicorn is right now according to him seems to be perfectly aligning with the unicorn horn vision Kremy had. (ep.34)
The mirror in Bavlorna’s bathroom leads to the Hall of Mirrors in Witchlight Carnival and going by what they saw in it, Mr Witch and Mr Light just began to walk away from it in Material Plane (ep.37)
Grickos tracking spell suddenly stopped working prematurely, meaning that Kremy's hat either was teleported over 1000 feet away or was taken to another plane of existence (ep.37)
Jelly Worm is a giant worm-like 30ft long and 10ft wide in diameter creature with properties of a gelatinous cube/the ooze with its teeth rotating and covering the whole inside of its maw. It appears to be the reason why the well wasn't working and the acidity of the water (homebrewed, ep.37)
Despite them being in fights and dangerous situations numerous times after the Agdon Longscarf Confrontation, the Other haven't appeared since then. It would suggest that the adrenaline, stress and/or fighting aren't direct triggers to him emerging. They theorise it may be Agdon having actual blood in him unlike the Jelly Worm, but it can't be the case because literally in the last fight his whole hand was covered in blood after he shredded a pixie with it. After Krew talking for a while, its appearance changed into what looks like a marionette. After being removed their seeds need to be burned, otherwise they'll turn into horrible abominations (homebrewed; ep.32) if not eaten quick enough, food made out from it can make your eyes scream (after closing them little teeth replace your eyelashes and they begin to let out horrid screams every time you open them) or run off (ep.33)
Pigtunia reported a frog man tried to free Sir Talivar from his cage and later on helped him with repairing the balloon and he and his neck didn't seem to be in any way damaged (ep.33)
The barn owl that party have seen is a one of forms of man that introduces himself as King of Hearts, an unnaturally beautiful and perfect archfey humanoid creature with a barn owl face mask covering upper half of his face, that claims to be one of the former rulers of Prismeer. He was supposedly cursed by the mother of three hags to be unable to enter the Castle where Zybilna is trapped. Supposedly, barn owl is a form of his familiar, as he is the moon to Zybilna's sun. He's able to cast spells and has a silver pocket watch that seems to be able to manipulate passage of time. (ep.34)
According to the King of Hearts, the Contraption on Torbek's back is not Prismeer-made but of somewhere deeper in the Feywild, probably by someone from the Twilight Court, and he claims to know who might be responsible for it. (ep.34)
King of Hearts never either confirmed nor denied that he's the Tight Pants Dude from their visions, nor wherever they are true, just gave them incredulous comments about them being ready to believe some dreams or visions over him. However, the state in which the unicorn is right now according to him seems to be perfectly aligning with the unicorn horn vision Kremy had. (ep.34)
The mirror in Bavlorna’s bathroom leads to the Hall of Mirrors in Witchlight Carnival and going by what they saw in it, Mr Witch and Mr Light just began to walk away from it in Material Plane (ep.37)
Grickos tracking spell suddenly stopped working prematurely, meaning that Kremy's hat either was teleported over 1000 feet away or was taken to another plane of existence (ep.37)
Jelly Worm is a giant worm-like 30ft long and 10ft wide in diameter creature with properties of a gelatinous cube/the ooze with its teeth rotating and covering the whole inside of its maw. It appears to be the reason why the well wasn't working and the acidity of the water (homebrewed, ep.37)
Despite them being in fights and dangerous situations numerous times after the Agdon Longscarf Confrontation, the Other haven't appeared since then. It would suggest that the adrenaline, stress and/or fighting aren't direct triggers to him emerging. They theorise it may be Agdon having actual blood in him unlike the Jelly Worm, but it can't be the case because literally in the last fight his whole hand was covered in blood after he shredded a pixie with it. (ep.38)

Bavlorna has a visitor right now, one of the darklings from the balloon shop. She's a guest frequently, often staying for hours and drinking tea with Bavlorna. During this time she shares whatever new information about Bavlornas sisters she learned (ep.39)
Bloody Toes is imprisoned by Bavlorna as her chef. She can somehow sate her murderous urges by also being her butcher but according to her it's not enough (ep.39)
According to Bloody Toes, Bavlorna's stomach is so acidic she can eat anything, including poisons (she was also able to eat chunks of glass and syringes during Electrum Chef without any visible difficulties; ep.39)
After giving the party the rose as a reward for freeing him from the cage (which was mentioned to be non magical whatsoever), the naked satyr jumps off the cliff they were standing on. There is no sound from where he jumped, besides faint flapping of wings. According to Twig, his smile and behaviour was kinda weird, uncanny, strange, unnatural and bizarre. (ep.39)
The halfling man on the portrait of anger in Bavlorna's Hut is the same one that Krew was unable to save from being kidnapped by Sow Pig. He looks 10-15 years older and incredibly angry. (ep.40)
