Once again I am requesting help finding a fanfic
I read it several years ago and, because Im an idiot, I didn’t bookmark it.
From what I remember- it starts out with Ford trapped in jail in a dimension where he used to be king because he had more fingers than everyone else but he got deposed when a new guy- Ronald, i think his name was- came along who had 7 fingers. Stan shows up and breaks him out and (because he’s Ford) Ford keeps trying to pick a fight. They escape the dimension through a con.
More details- they get coordinates to home from these three ladies that are kind of like the Fates after retrieving SOMETHING- I think it was one of the ladies’ heart-
At some point they end up falling down a waterfall and land on a tree branch, but the tree branch isn’t strong enough to hold both of them and Stan tries to let go but Ford won’t let him and says that if Stan lets go then he will let go to. They both fall and it turns out the waterfall- or maybe it was the tree, or maybe both- was alive and magical and saved them. She was very pleased because that was supposed to be a test that very few people passed and I remember that Stan was very close to punching her.
Oh, and when they got home Fiddleford (who Stan had recruited) had made a robot of Stan so that they could keep running the shack and it gained sentience and nearly fought them.
It also had a prequel where it was canon Stan and Ford on their boat and AUStan came through a portal and learned that Bill Cipher was dead. CanonStan got jealous because CanonFord was spending more time with AUStan.
When AUStan found AUFord he didn’t tell AUFord about it because it sounded like something he would make up- them reconciled, living on a boat and looking for adventures, with Bill Cipher dead.
