“In this fic an extremely anxious Brooke begins to seek comfort in speaking to phone line operator Vanjie, becoming a regular part of her routine despite never working. Words can’t describe how much I love this fic, it manages to deal with difficult topics so well and perfectly mixes some classic fic tropes with twists to the normal stereotypes you see. It switches between POVs just perfectly so that you get to see both sides of their story in such a clever and insightful way. Anyone who liked Kite’s work over here but doesn’t use AO3 should certainly check it out (and so should anyone else too!)”
