Just almost googled white dev Patel -_-
I spoke with a Scottish woman today. She saw what I saw. She also said my life sounded so unbelievable it should be a book. She's right, it sounds really unimaginable. Sometimes I think I'm dreaming. But she believes I'm getting kicked out of my own family. That hurt, truth is supposed to hurt. Said my sister is going to probably get everything I never will. She's richer than everyone--why does she need my house that's falling apart? She did say callously that I should go on Fund Me to see if I could get help. Who says that to a sister you've known since she was an infant? My family is cruel and heartless. But after the conversation, I was sad and about to sleep an I got message after message of never give up and a writing offer, and I was overwhelmed with so much love. I had been so happy in hours since the Mythopoetic Society liked my post about April 28th. One thing is true--I need to find a job and a new place to live. I know one thing for sure--my sister is mad at me for all the attention I'm getting for The Saga of Thranduil. If it were to get published, it would be hard for her to take because my mom wanted a writer in the family and I would have fulfilled her wish (and live in Scotland). I think all of my family except my dad would want me to fulfill my mother's dream. But I had someone wanting to give me good ideas on where to live--in Scotland and I met another writer like me with a publisher. It was like Cinderella at the Ball. ☺️ Now I understand. Not wanting me to leave even to go to school. Not allowing me to get a job but to take care of them and my sister's cats. Wanting me to be a ward of the state and deemed unfit. This would take away from them--their lives they dominate conversations about. My sister sounded jealous when I told her how I went from 5-10 google searches to half a million. When I told her of how many followers I had for the book (918 and growing here), she never said "congratulations". She said I made her life sound boring. I would have said, "congratulations, I knew you could do it"...something not that. I worked very hard to come to this point. I still work hard. It took one of my writer friends on WordPress six years to write 22,000 words. I don't count words. I just write. But I wrote 134,000 in less than a year. In less than two I will have close to 170,000 (I am at 168,359 now). I think I deserve more from them than I make their lives look boring like that was the idea. I know the clock is running out and I may not see my dad again as the keep him from me and I can't change that. But I can do what the never will--bring Thranduil out of the shadows and into a bookstore. I get anymore readers, that might happen anyway. Only the fans have the final say. If you want it, it will come, so to speak. I told her about you. How much you love Thranduil. It's like you're the family I never had and you're 1,000,000x larger than my family that doesn't acknowledge my existence. They had their chance to come with, but they chose otherwise. If I didn't know better, I would think they were jealous? Of someone that only wanted a family to love her? Well, that's stupid. Oh well, can't waste time thinking about it. I'm too smart to be on disability and a book they know is popular to the point I can't talk about it to anyone on the outside. You have my full and complete permission to drive Lee Pace mad if you want him to read the book. You pretty much can do what you want if you want to see this book in print or even a film. Knock your sweet little elven hearts out. Be my guest. @fortunatelyclevercandy
Going to see The Running Man.
