this trend is 100% still ongoing guys, it is TOTALLY not a whole new year— otsukare summer is STILL HERE NOW OK IM NOT LATEf(^_^;
i had an epiphany at work back in august 2025 and so this one has been in the works since then! so here it is my attempt at animating Yuu to おつかれSUMMER!! despite how long it took, im very happy to bring my son to life
#re:kinder#rekinder#parun#yuuichi mizuoka#shunsuke takano#for like. some frames#sayaka and ryou technically appear too for like a single frame shout-out to them#i did not time how long storyboarding sketching inbetweening hair eyes and lip sync took#but i sure did time beginning from the lineart to the editing!! and that is 2 days 12 hours 39 minutes 38 seconds of work😁😁😁#i do not wamt to think how long itd be with the sketching and actual inbetweening that was what took me months#i am hardly much an animator so i just spent months trying to understand how to make it work JQOSBWLW so excuse the. late post#i was just really hellbent on getting this one done www i knew if i tried another project at the same time id likely lose track#and i really really wanted to draw yuu with all these distinct emotions coming to life and i do not regret it i love my son#editing is a bit sloppy i am much less of an editor than an animator BUT LOOK ITS ITS THE SPIRIT THAT MATTERS🔥🔥#SO YEAH THIS IS WHAT IVE BEEN UP TO WJOANWKW ILL COME BACK TO LIFE NOW!!!!!! >:3#its been a really funny project to test the balance between having a full time job and college and having my body functional enough to draw#which is why it took so long but i think that if i were to do it again id probably take less since mt lack of experience is relevant i think#hopefully it speaks for itself hehe#alas sorry for the wait HAVE THIS!!!#oh yes happy 2026 i guess that too now JAOWBWLWN
