For there were things that I needed to say (nothing bad, I swear.)

For I know in my heart that I have not written (personally) in a while, and I know in my soul things that there are things I needed to say. The inspiration comes from a specific person that I will later continue to mention and talk about. But, the realization that I have come to notice is that things need to be written down. How will I know how I felt all those years ago? It might not be a question, for by then it might only be a distant memory. There is so much more to do, so much more to have done. Why live in a little space, enclosed, and in solitude? But, at the same time the question stands, why can’t I do anything about it now?

It all seems absolutely ridiculous that a simple idea from a person can make people feel inspired; inspired to follow their passion. How do we continue in the moment knowing that there is so much more things to look forward to and so many things that we are wishing and hoping that they can come true? We simply do. We do what we can to make our dreams come true. Because we seem like people who don’t matter to some in the world but there might be those people (might be a few but it also might be a million) who care a whole lot about you and what your future holds and for those people we owe everything to. From the person who inspires us to the people who supports us and love us

The pressure given by the simple fact that your whole future is in your shoulders, yet it can easily be taken away tomorrow is nothing more but frightening. It all seems like nothing else matters and that only some people will ever understand or get to know what we really want to do, what we really want to leave behind.

A simple girl from Puerto Rico trying to speak up. A simple girl that has had it rough in her own terms, even though she knows in her heart and soul that there is people in the world who have had it worse. A girl, that after everything, just wants to make her dreams come true, but how?

Isn’t that the question that we all have. HOW?

The person that was meant to be mention is none other than the amazing, Lin-Manuel Miranda. An amazing artist and lyricist and composer and so much more, if I started to write about him I would never end. The point of this is just to say that the inspiration given by such to other people is more than grateful. You can reach those goals you want. Thanks to Lin, I learned such. It will apparently just take more time then what we would like…

Broadway, I’ll see you someday. I’ll be there someday.

And Lin, if there is the slightest of chance you see this just know that you have a group of admirers all the way back in Puerto Rico who love you and support you all the way. You also inspire us dearly.Your shows are forever appreciated. Thanks for everything (even though you don’t know what for.. @linmanuel)
