The Next Day

Ryland had spent most of the night texting Lincoln as the day finally came. It was around noon time when he sat at the Park waiting for the cute hotelier to arrive. The older spots him and stands up with a smile. “Hey, you made it. It’s so good to see you. I got you a rose” he says holding out the flower.

Yikes! Link’s feet are on fire!

I went to a school for three years to learn how to heat metal, so I’ve kind of had my share of that craze before it even became a thing. So, I haven’t actually cut cheese with a hot knife, but...well...I wasn’t necessarily the target audience for today’s GMM.

That doesn’t mean I didn’t enjoy watching it. First of all, I think it’s absolutely adorable that they did this just for Lincoln. That alone warmed my heart. I also thoroughly enjoyed watching especially Rhett today, because he was in complete kid mode with that torch. I know they joked about him going grazy like Link while making the sandwich, but his eyes did have that grazy shine before they talked about it. He was loving every minute, Link not necessarily that much.

The hair cutting bit was pretty hilarious, especially because they use heat to burn split end somewhere (was that something I saw on GMM?). But it was nice of them to let Link do at least that test, even if he almost burned Rhett’s hand with the scissors. I hope they didn’t inhale too much of the toxic fumes though. Maybe they should invest in a Mythical gas mask or two?

I was also certain Link would fall on his pretty butt with those skates when they left him standing there alone. Thank god he didn’t but the thing with ice is, even if he sank through it and seemed lodged in, melting ice is probably the most slippery thing to stand on. I was relieved to see him seated down at the end.

GMMore made me hungry, even if the toast was a little burnt. I’d be willing to kill for a slightly grilled slice of tomato, caramelized onion and cheese on a slice of bread right now. Luckily, I have a pizza on its way. Also, that keychain was so awesome, but what was that turtle about? Are we supposed to know?
