The Next Day
Ryland had spent most of the night texting Lincoln as the day finally came. It was around noon time when he sat at the Park waiting for the cute hotelier to arrive. The older spots him and stands up with a smile. “Hey, you made it. It’s so good to see you. I got you a rose” he says holding out the flower.
“Hi, I’m so sorry I’m late.” Jeno smiled as he walked up to his date. “There was a uh, let’s just say an issue at the resort I had to attend to first. I tried to get here as soon as I could.” He said apologetically, smiling at the rose. “You’re so sweet, thank you. I’m really happy to see you again.”
He smiled once the younger took the ride from him. “Actually no, you’re right on time. I haven’t been waiting for very long actually. I have everything set up actually over there” he says pointing to a shaded area under the tree. “Instead of taking you to some fancy restaurant I’d thought I’d set up a nice romantic picnic since I know you love the outdoors” He gently grabbed Lincoln’s hand and guided them over to the picnic set up. He notice the other gasp in the surprise when he sees everything that Ryland hand done for him. Next thing Ryland knew, he was being hugged by the other.
“You really took the time to set all of this up? Just for me?” Lincoln looked around at the beautiful set up. “No one has ever done something like this for me before.” He said softly, letting go of Ryland’s hand to hug him. “This means so much.”
“Well I wanted to make a good impression on you because I’d like to pursue you Lincoln. I wanted the beautiful scenery to capture the essence of how beautiful you are” he says while blushing. He guided the younger to sit down on the blanket as he pulled out all the things out of coolers, spreading them neatly upon the blanket. “I also got some of your favorite snacks and fruits that you like.” He says opening the container of fresh fruits. He felt bubbly inside when both of their hands touched trying to reach in the container for some. He removed his hand shyly away letting Lincoln go first as he watched the pretty bear shifter eat his fruit so prettily. “Wow you’re so beautiful.”
“You’ve definitely made a good impression on me.” Lincoln smiled, sitting down and taking in the beautiful scenery around them and the beautiful man beside him. “As beautiful as this all is it still doesn’t compare to your beauty.” He smiled, blushing slightly as he moved closer to Ryland. “Thank you for this, really. No one has ever made me feel this way, the way you do already.”
“If I was your man, I’d always make you feel special each and every day. I would want you to wake up with a smile everyday, I want to show you the world but that’s only if you let me” Ryland says as he bites his lip at the fact that the younger gif closer. His heart was beating so fast as he took Lincoln’s hand, kissed it gently and held it afterwards. “I promise I’ll be the best mate ever, that’s if you and your bear accepts me of course. I would never do anything to hurt either of you and I’ll always be there for you whenever you need me baby”
Lincoln’s heart fluttered at each sweet word Ryland spoke to him. He believed him, that he would be the best he could be for him and always take care of him. It could feel the sincerity in his words, his shifter senses feeling how hard his heart was beating and how nervous he was. “I will do the same for you, if you let me.” He said softly, leaning in and placing a soft kiss to Ryland’s lips.
Ryland smiled at the younger and nodded at him. “Of course I’d like to give us a try.” He says to the other. He felt Lincoln lean over to kiss him softly before he pulled away. He loves it, he loves how soft Lincoln’s lips were and wanted to kiss him again. Ryland gently grabbed the younger’s neck and pulled him in for another kiss. “Your lips are so soft that I couldn’t resist feeling them on mine again”
“That’s okay.. I don’t mind.” Lincoln breathed out, moving even closer to where he was almost on top of the other, kissing him a bit deeper. “I like yours too, how they feel against mine. How you taste” he said before attaching their lips together again. “I’m never this forward but something about you is different.”
Ryland had pulled Lincoln into his lap while kissing him, running his hands up and down the younger’s back. “God you’re so perfect, and all mine.” He mumbled against the shifters lips before trailing wet kisses down his neck and back to his lips. “As much as I would love to ravish you right here in the middle of the park, I’m hungry for food” Ryland says chuckling as his stomach rumbled loudly between them. “But don’t be sad baby, you can have more of me afterwards”
Lincoln couldn’t help but chuckle. “That’s okay, you’ll need the energy for after so eat up.” He said as he started to dig into the food himself. “You picked all of my favorites too.” He said as they began stuffing their faces.
Ryland was eating a carrot when Lincoln had mentioned the words ‘energy for later’ causing him to unintentionally choke. Taking a sip of his water he turns to Lincoln who was smirking at him while eating. “You’re gonna be the death of me you little vixen, but of course, I had to get all of my baby’s favorites”
Lincoln smirked at ryland’s reaction, patting his back as he choked. “I mean.. am I wrong?” He laughed, taking another bite of food. “Thank you, though now you’re gonna see how much of a fatass I am”
“You’re not a fatass Lincoln. When you’re dating me, eating is always an option. Matter of factly, I think you’d be beautiful either way because I like you for you “ Ryland says as he kisses Lincoln’s cheek. Brushing the hair out of the younger’s eyes he couldn’t help but stare, considering the other was being a tease with his food. “Are you done taunting me?” He asks raising his eyebrow. He fully lays down on the blanket waiting for the other to finish eating and stop being a tease.
“Depends.. do you like it?” Lincoln asked with a raised eyebrow, finishing his food and laying down next to the other. “I know I said it already but thank you for all of this. Thank you for making me feel appreciated and wanted.” He said before leaning in and placing a soft kiss to Ryland’s lips.
Placing his hands on Lincoln’s waist, rubbing small circles as they both laid down, Ryland admired how beautiful the boy in front of him truly was. “I do like it actually, just how I like you” he chuckles as he kissed the other back. “And you’re welcome, but you don’t have to thank me. I wanted to, I always want you to be happy baby… I mean Lincoln” he blushes while looking up at the blue skies. “I know we haven’t known each other long but Will you be mine?”
Lincoln kissed back before laying his head on Ryland’s shoulder, looking up at him happily. “I can’t help it, I’m just really thankful. No one has ever put so much effort into me before and we haven’t even known each other that long. It says a lot.” He said taking the others hand and kissing it. “Of course I will.” He said kissing his knuckles softly.
Ryland let out a Huge sigh of relief when he heard that the younger would be his boyfriend. “You have no idea how happy you just made me baby, i promise I’ll do anything and everything just to keep that beautiful smile on your face.” He smiles as pushes his boyfriend down on his back and hovers over him. “Mine, all mine. So beautiful” he whispers as he tenderly kisses all over the others face and neck. Ryland nuzzles his face further into Lincoln’s neck, kissing where his future bite mark would be.
