"I'm a good person but also a fake ass bitch"
Secret Story #28: Tu Es Belle
Secret Story #28 4/19/17 "Tu Es Belle" Adrien walked out onto the terrace. Lindsey was already standing there, admiring the view. From their balcony they could nearly see the entire city, including the monument that towered over it all. "Knew I'd find you out here." He said, leaning against the railing beside her. She was wearing a big t-shirt and her hair was pinned up in a red baseball cap. It was early, they'd both crawled right of bed to come out here, but Adrien loved looking at her when she was like this. Yes, she cleaned up amazingly, but the simple, honest appearance of a beautiful women who'd just woken up, that couldn't be beaten. "What's on your mind?" "Just admiring the city." She answered, taking a deep breath of the Parisian air. "It smells much better than back home." "This can be your home you know." Adrien said, lightly placing his hand on top of hers. "You can stay here, with me." "I have to back some time. I can't get away with running off to Europe with some boy." Lindsey turned to him and smiled. "Even if he is a catch." Adrien didn't respond. He was too busy studying her face: the smooth brown of her irises, the way her nose turned up the slightest bit at the end. He knew she had to go back. As much he wanted to believe they could get away with anything, Paris was only a temporary escape from reality. He also knew he couldn't go with her. No matter how willing he was to drop everything and chase her to the States, it wasn't the right thing to do. So he was making sure he remembered her. Sure, they had pictures, old date receipts, and plenty of poems, but it wasn't enough for him. Looking at her on a screen or Polaroid wasn't enough. It wasn't real. Not as real as staring into her eyes, tracing her cheeks, and memorizing every little beautiful imperfection like he was doing now. "Tu es belle." He whispered, without thinking. Lindsey scrunched her face, trying to translate it. "What's that one again?" She conceded. "I know you've said it before." Adrien laughed. He said it to her nearly every day. "You are beautiful." Linsey blushed, leaning in close to him. "Je t'aime." She pronounced slowly. "You're accent still needs a bit of work, but you're getting there." Adrien teased. It was actually pretty good, but she didn't need to know that. "Oh shut up!" Lindsey roughly pressed against him, letting her lips find his. He kissed her back, making a conscious effort to memorize the taste of her lips. "Let's get back to bed." Adrien nodded and Lindsey led him back inside, closing the door to the Paris cityscape behind them.
Secret Story #19: Liffey in a Jiffey
Secret Story #19 4/1/17 "Liffey in a Jiffy" Lindsey stood in the center Ha'penny bridge, leaning against the railing. Other tourist passed her quietly, ignoring the scene. She couldn't blame them. The bridge wasn't extravagant by any means, although she liked the clean, white design. The Liffey river wasn't anything special either and had a bit of a smell to it. At the end of the day it was only a bridge and there were tons of them in Dublin. But Lindsey was on the trip of a lifetime and she was going to get everything out of it she could. "Linds! Come on!" One of her friends called out to her, having already made it the other side. "There in a jiffy!" Lindsey pulled her bag off her back and ruffled through it for her camera. When she found it she tucked her head under the strap and brought it up to her eye. She stepped back a bit, trying to get the railing in the shot. Lindsey had been dabbling in photography for a while, but wasn't a professionally by any means. Still, she thought the lighting could've been a bit better. She wondered if she could return at night, when the street lights would be shining off the water. 'Oh well', Lindsey thought, 'at least I'm here at all.' Lindsey snapped the photo, along with a couple more to be safe. The camera had plenty of memory space and she'd brought extra cards just in case. She doubted she could forget any of the beautiful sights of Europe, but having hundreds of photos for backup was not a bad idea.
I'm watching the Grease Live thing and it reminded me that a couple years ago my school did Grease and when it came to the car race, the kids had to run across the stage with cardboard cutouts of the cars
Have you been watching one punch man? I love that show! I think we need to watch it together when you come back home.
YES, I AM OBSESSED! SAITAMA AND GENOS ARE SO CUTE! Also, I connect with the bicycle hero on a spiritual level. But yes, we must watch this together when I’m back in the states. This show is too good.
