🌲🌲 HAPPY NATIONAL TREE DAY 🌲🌲

If you know an interesting tree fact, please share with everyone else so maybe we can all learn something new.

For some reason, I thought pineapples grew from trees like any other fruit. You know, maybe hanging off a tall tree separately from each other (kinda like coconuts?) but boy was I wrong!

They grow like a bush with the fruit coming out of the top of the plant!!

Apparently they take almost 3 years for a single fruit to fully mature from just a seed and are typically harvested between March thru July (in Hawaii, specifically.)

for @panharmonium, who is going after her Teen Wolf fic like the writer warrior that she is.  She deserves all the time in the world to devote herself to it and anything else she wants to do with her life, but instead she works a stressful full-time job that allows me to be unemployed right now.  I would never be able to have the life I am living today if it weren’t for my sister, and BY THE FORCE I SWEAR I WILL BE PAYING HER BACK FOR THAT SELFLESS GIFT WITH FANDOM CREATIONS FOR THE REST OF MY LIFE.  JEDI’S HONOR. ✊🏼
