I was seeing this guy and things were gettin intense and I fell in love with him and he says he fell in love with me, but I haven't heard from him in two weeks and he cut me out of his life and I don't know what I did wrong or why he hates me
Hey there,
I’m so sorry this has happened to you. This guy doesn’t sound like a very genuine person.
If this boy was truthful about what he has told you, I’m sure he wouldn’t just cut you out of his life all of the sudden. People can be manipulative and say things they don’t mean, but that doesn’t mean there’s anything wrong with you. If he supposedly hates you like you think he does, he isn’t worth your time.
From first hand experience, I can tell you it’s pointless to worry or feel down over a boy who let you go so easily. It’s really hard to move on and focus on something else, but it is possible. You’re so much more than you know, please realize this- and try not to worry about how someone else feels about you. The only opinion about you that matters is yours.
It could be possible that this guy got scared of how intense things were becoming, and decided to run from it rather than deal with it. If you ever get a chance to talk to him, perhaps bring this up? It could really clear the air if you find out why he’s acting the way he is.
In the meantime, try to distract yourself with hobbies and friends until the pain passes. (And don’t worry, it will pass). This will give your head and your heart a break, but if you do it for too long it may cause issues since it doesn’t resolve any other underlying problems. Talk to family and friends too, they’re there for a reason :). If you don’t feel comfortable enough talking to them about it though, don’t feel scared to go to your school counselor or send us a message.
Good luck! xx

Ward System:
Central Ward Point – A main Glyph Stone in the guard’s barracks where the wards are monitored and the Ward Key connected/disconnected and charged. There are other Central Ward Points for different groups, the Royals, the maids and servants have one, and a few nobles are permitted to have them too.
Ward Stones – Ward Stones form the ward Barriers, a doorway or arch without these stones is completely normal. Ward Stones come in sets of either three or five (or more for large arches), the average formation is two either side and one at the top centre of the doorway/arch, if a set of five then two can be set at the floor. They can be activated and deactivated by touching a Ward Stone with a Ward Key, this is like locking the doors.
Ward Barriers – Barriers in doorways to significant areas of the castle where only permitted people may go. These barriers give a static shock and prevent entry to those not permitted, and if forced through, the stones set in the door ways start making a noise and flashing to indicate an intruder. It makes the Ward Keys start vibrating and flashing as well, to silently alert guards to the intruders.
Ward Key – Permitted people are given small Ward Keys, so they can pass through Ward Barriers without issue, it’s a small and simple coloured stone that they can carry in their pocket during the day. They don’t need to take the stone out, or touch it to a Ward Stone they can simply carry it with them. Some Keys can only enter parts of areas, so Willow’s only works for the royal/royal guard’s quarters and Agrona’s room, but wouldn’t work for Ivan’s room. The alarms wouldn’t go off, but she would get a static shock and repelled by the barrier.
Different people have different levels of security rating, the Royals have the heisted, the guards next, then the nobles, then maids/servants, and others follow after that. The Royals signet rings have built in Ward Keys, while everyone else must collect a Key at the start of their shift/be given one to carry.
Most castles or significant places in Alcazar have these wards. Not EVERY doorway has these, but the main entrances to the royal’s quarters, and other areas have them, such as the war rooms, the barracks, the treasury an various rooms which hold valuable items.
It makes it very difficult for intruders to get around, or nobles to sneak into rooms they should be, and so in. It’s easier than having guards stood at every door, although in a few areas they do still do that.
Ilithian, Reliston, Finterri and probably Tilapia will have these wards too, smaller places may not be able to afford them so villages or towns will be unlikely to have them expect in government buildings. However these don’t work outside, they need a doorway or arch for Ward Stones to be set into around the door frame, a archway or tunnel into places may work.
All Ward Stones have Glyphs of warding inscribed onto them to make them work, these are made by a Glyph Scribe, and are all identical. Ward Key’s have the glyph equivalent of ‘open’ or ‘pass’ on them. I have no idea what these glyphs look like.
I am not a writer.
There is no great inner missive that demands to be placed on a page, no holy connection between myself and the tip of a pen. My thoughts come and go in plain text. I lack the richness of prose, the careful scarcity of poetry. There is no voice of mine that asks to be spoken. There is nothing I ask to be heard.
By all common measures I am no writer.
The sounds of my own heart to keep me awake
To keep you away.
You aren't all that I am
You're all I can afford to give.
A tryst set on green fields in warm, fresh air
catching you fell in your chest.
My body asks questions my brain doesn't want answered.
Did your mother tell you that you wanted to die before you did?
