John's obsession with bisexuality in the 90s, was more a fascination he had with bowie and the 70s imo. I remember he told a journalist in the mid 90s that he liked being extremely thin because it made him resemble bowie in the man who fell to earth. He seemed to be heavily into mimicking that Era in his whole mind. He had a bisexual experience that he embarrassingly described in an interview as a moment of pure boredom and horniness.
