I am so annoyed with so many stereotyped isekais and other stuff that gets from there so I guess it might be a one big mockery of them all. No one can see them, they blend with people and nature. One day he comes across Rung but he is so unlucky already that if Shiba says "You will trip tomorrow" - Rung will already be falling from the hill right now. Nightbeat is too curious to solve this so he sticks to Rung, keeping him a strange company
